Thank you for your reaction. It's clear that you like to close your eyes and soak in the sounds, which is cool. But with BTS the visuals and the lyrics are just as important. I like to suggest playing each song a couple of times. First to listen (cause that's what you like), second to watch the visuals, and third to read the lyrics. Just a suggestion. Some ARMYs get very upset if reactors miss out on these things. Also Hybe/Big Hit are generally alright with copyright as long as you show the Big Hit intro each time. The live performances and Japanese songs are trickier. Another ARMY suggested that you watch “The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 update)” by Rice Squad, and I second that recommendation. You will also want to check out Taylor's Guide to the Bangtan 7 to get to know them better.

70 year old BTS Army here. Please pay attention to the lyrics. BTS lyrics are extremely important to their music and their lyrics are one of the main reasons they are the biggest group in the world. Most of their MVs are well known for being very cinematic. I don't understand why you aren't interested enough to watch them. Watching the MV and paying attention to the lyrics indicates to me that you are serious about BTS and not just in it for the clicks.

The guy you asked about is Jungkook the main vocalist and a member of the dance line, he also rapped in some of their early tracks. They debuted 10 years ago when he was only 15, he is now on list as one of the best voices of all time. Dancer with the blue hair was Jimin. They all dance and put a lot of effort into their MVs which is why we recommend you to actually watch, it is part of the experience. Of course they are best at live performances.

I understand how you feel the music, but these men are lyrical geniuses and you really should try to catch them. even if in a second watch, ARMY will rewatch with you 😁💜

The bts member by the water is named Jungkook,definitely a fan favorite.

Glad you're realising that you're in for an auditory smorgasbord that I'm sure you'll enjoy very much! Their music is varied and you'll find yourself enjoying more than disliking. So enjoy your journey, and as Army's we'll just have to let you enjoy it the way you want to which seems to be more on an auditory level, so go ahead. 👂👂👂👂 Yes, we get hung up on the lyrics and visuals but we're all not the same, and we have to accept that! 😂😂 It mostly stems from BTS not being taken seriously as artist, and uphill battle we've fought ever since they debuted, so do have patience with Army's too. You can always run through the first time just to listen and then go through again for the lyrics and visuals if that is something that might be of interest in future to pacify Army's.... but not necessary.

Just remember, BTS songs are deep so always have your subtitles on. In Fake Love the writing on the mirror is an ambigram. It says Save Me & flipped says I'm Fine, which both happen to be BTS songs. Save Me is my fave song of theirs, the video is awesome. So many hidden messages in their songs, that's one reason you're encouraged to watch them. ARMY doesn't want you to miss anything!

Jungkook is the main singer even though he is the youngest. Fans (ARMY) do have their favorites (bias), but, for the most part, the fans support the group as a whole (OT7). (15:41) Suga (rapper), V (vocalist), Jungkook, RM (pink hair, rapper, group leader), J-Hope (rapper), Jin (vocalist, oldest), Jimin (vocalist). Jimin, RM, J-Hope, and Suga have recent solo albums. The group is pursuing individual work while they each fulfill their mandatory military service. Jin and J-Hope are both in right now. RM will probably go next. Suga has an injury which will probably have him perform an alternate service. They haven't said much, so I don't know for sure. They plan to get back together when they are out of the military.

Kpop is the industry and not a genre. BTS has songs in multiple music genres. They started as a hip-hop group and now they have pop, ballads, R&B, jazz, rock, EDM, etc

I love youre reactions really! But you have to look the video, The lyrics of the songs are more than the melody itself and the message given by the video, the dances and much more. The songs they are recommending for you to watch, seriously WATCH the video.

If just want to listen to music you could listen to the lyric video's. but by not reading the lyrics, or watching the MV you are really missing so much. maybe not quite so stoned would be good. Thank you for giving BTS a try and good review! I'm giving you unasked for advice, but after watching so many reactions, I know who makes it and who doesn't. You can't put BTS in the K-Pop bottel. not sure who told you to focus on the dance move but imo the most important is the lyrics as theyre written by the members themselves. i agree with another comment who said to react multiple times we do not mind long videos so for example if you wanted to react to mic drop 3 times we would watch the entire thing, same with fake love and black swan. if thats what you have to do to appreciate the sound, lyrics and visuals we will watch it :) just please if youre gonna focus on something the lyrics are bts story its the entire reason the songs exist. they dont make music just to make it its always been about the message.

They make a copywrite claim (so the reactors can't monetize the videos) but they won't give a copywrite strike. Ever since BigHit became HYBE they have actually been blocking more than they used to. And yes live performances and Japanese songs have always had issues.

Yes everyone is right this used to be true but isn't anymore we need to be careful what we say to reactors now. It's best we tell them to keep pausing to talk ect.

fyi, they have over 300 song that cover many MANY genres. there's something for everyone, but always with their special flair.

Mic Drop was a response to their 'Haters' and they really do have all the awards over 800 of them and they've distroyed a large number of records both in South Korea and Worldwide records both as the Group BTS and with their members individual soul work. Fake Love is about on 2 levels relationship gone bad due to changing oneself to suit the other person but losing who you are and the person doesn't like what they've changed you into. It's fake love when that happens it's not love at all. Deeper it's about learning to love and accept yourself before you can learn to love another person. This is psychology 101. Black Swan is about the fear of losing one's passion for their art and/or unable to continue their art eg Song Writing, Composing, Producing, Dancing, going on stage etc etc. But they over come it. The Shadow dancing is their inner conflict and fears about losing their passion for their art. But at the end you see it shrink down into nothing showing they've over come their fears. The idea of 'Shadow' along with 'Persona' and 'Ego' are psychological terms. The song is also inspired by a quote from a famous dancer 'A dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing and this is the most painful death' As you can see they write, compose and produce real songs about their lives and they use Psychology, great works of art and Books. RM is big reader and one of the 3 main Songer Writers he also has an IQ of 148.

Mic Drop has GOT to be my favorite bts song, i listen to it all the time! I also love Fake Love and Dope a lot

Jungkook the main vocalist was the one you asked if he was a fan fav. Most armys are OT7 meaning they love all 7 seven members but some have their 'favourites' we call them our BIAS, then we have our BIAS WRECKER who makes you question your original decision of your BIAS if you follow me. I find the Maknae line (the 3 youngest members Jimin, V and Jungkook) get the most attention but each member is talented in their own right and brings something different to the group. There wouldnt be a BTS if it wernt for all 7 of these multi talented guys. Its a blend that cannot and will never be replicated. I suggest maybe watching one of the guides to the members. The one by taylor Mari is a good one. It was updated up untill 2022 and theyve accomplished so much more this past year having their previous 700 awards smashed to 900/1000 awards now.

BTS won't block you as long as you follow a few simple rules. Always play the Big Hit intro, pause a couple times and don't try to monetize the videos. Now the lives can be touchy depending on who broadcasted it

BTS is in a class by themselves. Kings... write , produce, sing , and dance to their own vast catalog of songs...they defy musical classification..it's fine that you pause but to fully appreciate their music you need to watch and read their lyrics cause they are mostly about relevant topics that everyone can relate too hence their vast following..💜💜💜

BTS doesn't interfere with people reacting to their videos. They have never stopped them from being reacted to (the official videos with the Big Hit/Hybe label at the beginning). Usually the only BTS videos that get blocked are those that are in Japanese and the videos where they appear on a show (like Jimmy Fallon).

ive been an old fan about 2016 or so and i only know their songs and a bit of their personalities, my favorite song of theirs is “blood sweat & tears” it was the first song i listened to as well.

The reason you need to watch the videos is because they are part of the story. There are a lot of hidden messages in the videos and many of them are part of a storyline which continues from album to album. Also you need to read the lyrics because they are very deep and tackle a lot of issues such a social injustice and mental health. Both of these add to the many layers of BTS songs, not just the music. Apart from these, BTS videos are works of art in themselves.

I look forward to your reactions! Watching you see and hear all these songs and different groups reminds me when i first started listening to Kpop...i was so angry that i didn't listen to it sooner.

Happy to see you vibing and from what I can tell you seem to like to focus more on the audio which is a totally legit way to appreciate music. I'll just say this, watching a reactor looking away and closing their eyes is a put-off. The video itself tells a story and there's also the lyrics and choreo as well. There's always the option of reacting to the official audio first and then the MV so you can enjoy it how you like, but then the person watching the reaction is satisfied that you're taking in the whole package. As you react to more BTS, you'll often find hidden meaning, symbolism and a whole story line that runs through multiple videos.

dont feel like you need to change the way you listen to music just bc some ppl complain do in the the way you feel most comfortable. its important bc everyone listens to and takes in music differently. you can just check the lyrics later or read the before or smth so u have a vague idea of what theyre talking abt. i think ppl are complaining bc bts has a lot of wordplay and lyricism since they write their own stuff. still dont let it get to u and listen to the music the way you enjoy it the most its nice to see someone get so immersed in it💜💜

May be hard but def try to watch with your eyes open!!! There’s so much going on in these music videos and so many details connecting to the lyrics and vibe and you’re missing a lot of the most iconic moments in the videos! Also you can’t see the lyrics relating to the music, the choreo connects to the lyrics they’re singing or rapping and the music video has so much effort put into it building concepts and worlds ya know…. Just want you to get the best experience. I totally get wanting to vibe and immerse yourself in the music… I love being able to to feel the vibe that regardless of the language when done well you can totally understand what they’re saying… maybe watch it twice? Once immerse and second focus? Some ppl do that just bc there’s so much happening lyrically and in the video it’s hard to see both at once…. And BTS write music in the most beautiful ways and so clever…. Twice watching gives you what you need in immersing and then gives us a fully focused reaction to the video and lyrics as well. Up to you but just a request and suggestion.. good luck either way man

There is no wrong way to react. It's very individual. A lot of people will want you jot to miss things, but honestly, there is so much going on in BTS videos, from lyric translations to visual effects to dances to the music. It's nearly impossible to catch it all on one sitting. That's why a lot of people will watch it a couple times, concentrating on different aspects. And we will be here for it if you choose to do it that way. Army is 100% ok with long reactions as long as you are being honest and real with your reaction. But it's all about your personal journey, and again, there is no wrong way to do it. As you get farther, you will find what's comfortable to you and find a method that works best. And don't be afraid to pause as much as you need. We want to hear from you have to say. So feel free to pause and comments on something in the moment if you want. We've all seen these videos before and if we want to hear it all the way theough with no pausing ee can watch it on our own time. You're thoughts are what we want to hear. So, don't worry. You're doing great.

About the most popular member are the Makne Line. The youngest members. V, JK and Jimin. In Korea there is a cultural issue of calling young people Makne, especially in KPop The youngest member is JK, followed by V and Jimin. bts hyung line. The oldest members. They are: Jin, Sugar, RM and Jhope But all members are very popular.

From what I've heard is as long as you react to a original BTS MV with the BigHit intro, they will not copy right you. It's when you start digging into recorded vids, lives, shows, etc.

Someone has probably mentioned this before but all kpop artist's very rarely use a green screen, i have been an ARMY since 10th July 2021 and am 47yrs old so i know for definite that BTS hardly ever use them. 💜🔥💙

My issue with the way you watch your video is that BTS are interpretive dancers and their lyricism is deep and amazing. When you close your eyes, you are getting 1/3 of the experience. It's fine is you like the music and want to vibe, their music is amazing, but closing your eyes and missing the video and the lyrics are not it. By the way we don't mind you pausing the video, and we understand the KZread issues. So pausing is fine. Vibing to the song is fine on your own time, but if you close your eyes and miss most of it, what's the point in reacting to a music video on KZread. We really aren't here to watch you vibe. We are here for a reaction video, which includes actually watching the video, and reading the lyrics.

11:47 this is jungkook .. he is the main vocalist, only vocalist who is also a sub rapper , lead dancer and the official center of BTS….. oh and he’s also the youngest one lol being a center means he’s front and center of live performances and just their content in general a majority of the time. Everyone in this group is exceptional in their positions.. vocalists, rappers and dancers … there is no bad member, or member who lacks in any areas… certain members specialize in areas and tend to be the most passionate of that area. In K-pop .. the members debut as positions… and they use labels to define key roles and responsibilities. Main - tends to lead that role on stage and in their music , often the most passionate in their role and may spend the most time perfecting it Lead- is strong but tends to not lead that position , they’re great at the role itself but usually not as passionate about that position as the main is. They’re sturdy and stable in their role and focus on doing their best Sub- mainly a background role for a position… they do it, they may do it really well but it’s not their main focus. The only subs we have are jungkook is a sub rapper and jhope who is a rapper is also a sub vocalist. Jungkook does majority of the harmonies and adlibs for vocalists and rappers …. And jhope records some harmonies for tracks, and adlibs for the rappers on the tracks and live… so they can both do their sub position well but it’s not a main position for them Typically in K-pop these labels … main, lead and sub are used more for level of skill… but in BTS they’re all good at everything… some are just a little better at some and definitely have more of a passion for their main roles… their focus. Lately I’ve heard a couple of them talking about why they think they’ve been successful… and a lot of it.. is them all understanding what they’re main roles in the group are and theirs no ego… nobody is jealous bc someone has more lines or screentime or is usually in the front…. They love the ppl being in those roles and constantly are promoting and supporting each other in whatever their specialty’s are. They work so well together as a team.. and they thrive on seeing the others find success… it’s so genuine. They’re always pointing out the best in each other or ending another’s insecurities by backing them up. Everyone has an area that’s THEIR responsibility on or off stage… or both… and it’s really a family unit… they’re very special… each of them can be extremely successful alone… but together they’re this epic unstoppable force of nature but it’s gotta be all of them. They’re a once in a lifetime group!

Excited to welcome you to the BTS journey. Please, please, please try to keep your eyes open. You miss so much when you close them to vibe. I know the songs are a vibe, but the visual is just as important. I agree that a first watch to catch the vibe and a second to catch the visuals would be okay. ARMY loves watching reactors who really enjoy themselves so i don't want to discourage you from enjoying it your way, but we all have our favorite parts that we don't want you to miss! For example, RM smashing out of the ambulance in Mic Drop, but you missed it because your eyes were closed. Don't apologize for pausing. Those of us who enjoy watching reaction videos understand that. We want to hear your comments and we know you have to pause to help avoid copyright issues. As you talked about at the beginning it was the editing with the jump cuts that was the issue for a lot of us. This was way better. I really enjoyed watching this reaction.

I wish you would watch the video and the lyrics BTS has meaningful lyrics and its a waste to react to a video if you keep your eyes closed half the time you miss so much.

You should check out Xikers! They just debuted a while ago, but they are already really famous because of their music. Their debut song is called Tricky house, which is a big banger, but there are more banger songs like Xikey or ROCKSTAR. I think you will like them a lot! Greetings from Germany :)

Mic Drop remix isn't bad but I prefer the live Extended Version with the live band with plenty of heavy bass and drum and the extra hard dance breaks. I see this one as Mic Drop light version.
