'Well you do know Bang PD is CEO Chairman of Bighit/Hybe Company after all it was Bang PD put BTS group together that's His Boyz He is the Father Founder of BTS so it makes sense for Bang PD to show Up to say good bye to His Boyz who made him rich thanks BTS Army's now look at him He holds a Corporation HYBE building as Chairman, but yea it was nice to see Bang PD brings his BTS Guys bags of gifts to each BTS 7 members, very cool. @@Xstarzones2 I think Bang PD is going to miss them very much. He’s been responsible for their welfare or success for a long time. It makes me wonder his enlistment story.

The restrictions don't allow to film them, but there is some pics of all seven (first time in months that we were able to see Yoongi, Hobi and Jin looking good and buff) That was so emotional, I miss them already... Only 6 months for Jin to come back!

Can you imagine if BTS had got exemption? They would have been reminded of this for the rest of their careers, especially as they watched their friends and peers leave to serve. Knowing BTS personalities, I don't think they would have ever lived this down. At least they can be like everybody else for a while and hopefully make some good friends outside the entertainment bubble.💜

Did you notice how buff JHope was getting? I hope he can maintain his healthy diet after discharge. JK and Jimin are companion soldiers so they'll always be in the same unit. I think that's given ARMY some relief and comfort, as well as their own, I'm sure.

@@komerican-og You are so right that the whole world is watching. BTS enlistment made headlines across the world. I don't know of any other Korean artist except for maybe Psy, who has that kind of impact. I read that Psy had to serve twice because he actually was doing some "outside" work during his first enlistment which he got in trouble for. Many news outlet predicts that BTS would comeback even more popular after their service! Another interesting fact ... the 3 days since enlistment, BTS songs, Spring Day charted #1 in ITunes in the US as well 83 countries for the first time after 6 years since it was released! Outro Tear also charted #1 and BTS debut song charted #1 in the US as well! ARMY wanted to send a message to BTS as well as the world that BTS might be inactive for 18 more months, but ARMY is not going anywhere and will continue to support the guys until their return!

Besides, Jin and JHope have proven their worth in the army. They practically earned respect not only within their ranks but also among their trainors and officials. You are right, BTS enlistment is good PR for the military trainong program... Your son is admirable.

They must be so cold. Thankfully JK and Jimin will have each other 24/7 for the whole duration since they chose to enlist via the companion system. Tae will excel in the unit he chose and Joon will too though we don't know where he'll end up yet. Time can't pass soon enough until we get jin and hobi back. Yoongi will finish after all of them just intime for 2025 festa. Hope they will be healthy and safe until then..

Idk why but I think being in the army is easier than being BTS, they were overworked, at least they’ll get to eat more in the army.. I hope all of them return safely and yes, we are extremely proud of Tae for his choice, he didn’t need to choose a harder branch but he said he has a goal and he seems super excited about it

V and RM are training toghether but in 5 weks V is going inspecial force and i am really proud of him

Thank you for watching this, John! 👍🏼 They couldn’t show it, but Jin, JHope & Suga (using vacation days) also showed up for RM & V’s enlistment on 12/11, as well as on 12/12, JHope & Suga came to Jimin & JK’s enlistment. Jimin & JK are at the same location that Jin is at, so I’m sure they met up at some point. The photo that Jin posted of the three of them is from the day before, 12/11. There is also a group photo out there, showing all 7 members together on 12/11.

6:10 I think the best word in English for that is, "comrades," but it's fallen out of favour. I think Americans, in particular, came to associate it with the former USSR & Maoist China, but it's a good, descriptive word for people who work/fight together & are closer than colleagues. To those people complaining about why BTS gets to do things differently compared to other normal people: Are they in denial or just as thick as a rock? BTS members are global super stars. They think BTS should do things in the same ways as other Korean men? Do these people know that million of eyes are on BTS all over the world and by extension the South Korean mandatory military service are also reported all over the world because BTS is associated with it now? BTW John, I am curious what considerations you have for bringing your family and children back to Korea?

@@thekookmin5813 jungkook has not once mentioned him and jm enlisting together, never mentioned or even talked abt the buddy/companion system, never said he will rely on anyone and think its good to enlist tgt with a member. jk's CHOICE was special forces. where he is now was the ONLY OPTION. i think jimin especially and also hobi will grow alot menthaly. and jimin really need it i think he will get cool and tuff and more self-confident. i hope they treat him well because we have heard so many bad stories. also teamins time and G dragon. the fact that both jin and hobi is doing well is giving me hope that the others will too. because can you imagine if stories about them being treated badly comes out the whole country will suffer because army will let everyone know how bad the military is hehe. they know BTS influence so it´s time to proof that not all military is bad.

Hello it wonderful to hear your feedback about the members in duty and we Army tried to get them exempted but the members said they will do their duty and asking us Global Army to respects their decision miltary is strict but global Army will do anything to make sure they ok and the respects of all soldiers alongside them thank you for your vedio and please stay safe , stay strong , stay healthy too 😇🙏

Jimin and Jungkook with Jin are in most dangerous unit and stationed on the most dangerous base, because they are watching and guarding the DMZ, aka the frontline. Praying for all the members, but praying a little bit more for Jimin, Jungkook and Jin. Haters, anti-s, and competitors stop the negativity, and misinformation…no time is acceptable, but truly, this really isn’t the time.

Yeah… I’ve been doing a lot of reading these past few days, and have learned that the 5th division handles a lot of landmine sweeping at the DMZ. Jin, in his assistant instructor position, probably doesn’t have to do that as part of his duties. But jk and jimin, with their tattoos, are disqualified from applying for teaching positions and will likely end up as infantry. Apparently it’s most common for paired companion soldiers. Like John, I was also thinking that military service might be a good mental break for the boys, and wasn’t feeling nervous at all until learning that! Now I’m hoping that they get transferred somewhere else after training, even if it means having to leave Jin’s camp. :(

Yes. Almost all of them are out of their element and seem to share a strong bond. ^^ They will be living with people from all walks of life.

Everyone has to go so it is not a place for the 'army types'. From a farmer to a hyper studious nerds... they will all be there so I heard it is a special experience.

Will miss them so much, but I know they'll be so busy with their military service and time will fly by for them. As for V, I hope he will be safe, I know how difficult it is in the unit he's joining. Be safe all the young men that are serving their military duties. BTS understand endurance, so I know they'll do well.

Jungkook wanted to go to Special Forces like V but he couldn't because of his tattoos. Apparently there're very strict rules in that regard. He and Jimin serving via the buddy system is a great thing for them mentally though I think. 💜

I'm so proud of Tae but since he's afraid of heights I hope he'll be okay. Can a person be transferred elsewhere if they don't suit a particular unit or do they just have to manage? Not saying he won't, but just curious 🤔

Yes he can. Actually, if he under performs or something, he might not be able to join at all. I don't think that will ever happen though~

I understand if you're worry, but he's not afraid of heights... In Bon Voyage season 4 he did Bungee Jumping in a mountain in New Zealand two times, one with RM and then alone. a person who is afraid or has a phobia wouldn't do it, like Hobi and Jimin. He's gonna be fine, if he is there is because he's qualified :)

@@v.vlenmf05Jimin will be fine with heights. He has been jumping trained in Martial Arts and during Run eps he jumps and walks up up there and hes fine.

@@v.vlenmf05 Yes saw the episode. Just remembering the RUN one where he failed to jump and grab the bag. Incidentally Jimin did well there! I think they've all conquered their fears for Army! I think Hobi is the bravest person I know. 😄💜

i find it strange how some of them come out heavier than they used to. like in fat.. taeyang mentioned that on suchwita. he said he needed to lose 10 kg or so. and i also think taemin lost a lot afterwards i remember seeing a picture of him right after he was discharged. and jimin said that people like him tend to gain weight in there, rather than lose weight. maybe they eat more than they burn idk. but it´s still weird when you are running every day. i just hope jimin or any of them wont get any bad habbits about eating. because then it will be that much harder when they come out. i hope jimin eat healthy and find a way to keep the weight, without gaining or loosing just so that he stays healthey and get a better image of himself. i want him to be proud of him self. he is always so hard on himself and whenever he gained weight he talked about it on vlive and get shy in front of the camera. i dont really care how he looks, he is always pretty in my eyes. but i know how much he care and i do too about myself so i get him. so i hope he will get good eating habbits without gaining much weight.

You are worried about their weight?! This is not something to concern yourself about. Weight is a minor part of their life in the MS. They have much greater concerns and things to focus on in the 5th unit.

Many kpop idols say they eat only one meal a day to stay slim, or do intermittent fasting. But in the military, they are made to eat three times a day whether they like it or not. They will need that energy! And they can go back to old habits after getting out. 🤷🏻‍♀️
