Not saying it's super easy specially for native english speakers but it's more common and doable than you think. You just need practice (it kinda comes naturally when you constantly try to sing anime openings from the start, not just mumble, like actually sing them) Source: I'm in the Youtaite community filled with people singing in japanese without actually knowing the language.

well yes the intonation is the impressive part, especially the part where she don't broke every word she is saying, but frankly learning sound even if you don't know what they mean is not that hard. In the same optic check the movie Yazabi (french movie) the main female actress is a japanese star back then and did not know a single word of french. Yet played a bilingual character in a french movie and not a small role. She just learn what the sound of each word was, which emotion to convey and repeated them without knowing what they meant.

You might find this surprising but I think it's kind of easy to pronounce Japanese words and also watching anime for a long time helps with pronunciation. So anyone that has watched anime or any Japanese related programs, then we can easily mimic the words even though we don't really know what we're saying in Japanese most of the time XD. It's just fun to sing in Japanese or mimic anime lines, so that is the reason why you might think Gura's JP skills are so good here XD

It's one of the best parts of her voice. Granted she's already a good singer, but when she has a duo song (like with Rikka from Holostars) it brings the power in both's voices. Proof of this is her and Rikka's cover of Kaede by Spitz, or Hakujitsu by King Gnu

I absolutely love Gura’s Japanese singing voice! She has great pronunciation!!

Both of them sing like there is no tomorrow. Love it!

All jokes aside, I am really glad Gurandma have found her bottom jaw. Oh, and the performance was damn TENSHI-LIKE. Their voices are criminally beautifull and clear.
