Excellent decision, better late than never.

Housing and job crising initiated these rule changes. Canadian government issued uncontrolled number of student visas and work permits in the last couple of years. Elections are coming up next year and the ruling liberal party wants to gain public approval by doing this ( even though they created this problem )

@@sherinbv Have you been to Sydney Australia? I can tell you it is very expensive. Have you been to San Francisco? Toronto is not the only city in the world that is expensive. If you cannot withstand these expenses please go to any cheaper cities in the world. Nobody is begging you live here.

This is what happens when you go to an agency like Santamonica and get admission to a school like Conestoga, Fanshawe, Cape Breton, etc. Over the past 5 years, there has been an explosion of international students, a lot being malayalis, studying at these colleges doing random PG Diplomas, just for the sake of getting a PR. This is what the government is restricting. Masters and PhD students are exempt from this, that shows you the importance of doing these degrees. Game changing decisions by the government.

If going to the US legally from Canada is what you're looking for, then there is no such special privilege for.a non-Canadian citizen trying to enter the US from Canada. It would easily take about 3+ years after becoming PR to get Canadian citizenship.

Many are not going to good schools in Canada. They are going to what is known as "diploma mills" in Canada. Canadian government is trying to shut those schools down. Students going to good universities get good jobs.

In Canada, as your salary increases, your tax also increases. Means you are paying half of your hard earned money to the government if you have high paying job. Cost of living is high and homes are not affordable to buy now. Renting is also expensive. But life in Canada is way better than in India. Atleast you will find a job if you are ok to do any job.

Bro. They are not coming for higher education to Canada. Many of them will not even get admission to A grade universities in Canada. They are going to low grade schools(Canadian born students won't go) so they can get a pathway to permanent residency in Canada. I know many of them in Canada. They are just trying to buy immigration because the job prospects in India looks so wonderful.

Agencies’ greediness led to all these restrictions.

Tell me couple of “Top Skilled” jobs in Kerala, education in India particularly in Kerala is very old and outdated no foreign countries prefer such “high skilled” people who gained experience from such education institution. Same goes for majority of educational system except like IIT.
