In 2015 I was addicted to methamphetamine and didn't have my kids with me. I sent them to live with my parents states away. This song is our song. I dedicated it to my kids. My daughter would send me videos of herself singing it. This coming August I'll be sober 6 years. I constantly had a mother's prayer for my kids.. they prayed for me to be their mom again

I absolutely love this part of K Michelle. Her diverse voice. She can sing both Country and R&B very well. I love it.
I like the fact that K is authentically singing she does naturally have a country voice. For so long many labels forced her to add soul or turn it off
