David Gergely. These things would never happen with the bald eagle 🦅 the parents will fight to death to protect their young, this is very cruel...but NATURE.

I think the baby birds were low on energy the attacking bird knew that. After awhile the babies got tired and couldn’t defend themselves.

The bigger bird was like, okay.... hold on let me figure this shit out...

Middle bird loses an eye at 03:10 .. you can see it fall through the branches and get stuck in the branches right below his head. I was wondering why he got injured so badly/stopped moving/died.

Looks like the chicks had lost one of their parents (killed by accident or by predators) and the parent left could do nothing against the other nesting couple.

Omg not 1 but all 3 of them?!! 😡. Ruthless. And that last 1 to the far right clung to life with everything trying to escape, even falling out of the nest onto the leaves. But then they zoomed out and there were more waiting for them. 😓

I think it's more they were unlucky. It Doesn't matter how strong they are Little chicks aren't going to take on a big bird like that

I can't say If their mother, hiding below the branches was coward or poor? But I am dame sure the child were very brave in this lil age.. the way they fight back against the huge bird.. Salute for their courge! 👏 Here my confusion is, is the yellow beak bird threatened the lil chicks only to steal their nest material to build it's own nest? Or after completion of it's nest they will have party?

If I've learned anything from watching enough of these videos it's that the parents of birds, well perhaps putting up an initial defense, certainly are not willing to risk their health and certainly not their lives on a particular set of babies. And, you really can't blame them, as a week or two from an attack they'll live to lay another few eggs and everything starts all over again. No particular baby is more valuable than that.

I was shocked to see that his nest was being built 2 freaking feet away. It’s like your neighbors barging in, killing your kids and walking out with your furniture to use right next door. Those babies were fighters though 😔

That is a cattle egret! They like to be in small flocks and like to stick near cattle! But hold on...the baby and the attacker are maybe the same species....

DLIX2DCLI why intefere? The other bird needs to eat too. And that wouldn’t do much they will just return at a different time when no one is there. You can’t protect them forever that’s what the parents are for and if they fail then that’s it. Just my opinion 💜

Never seen that behavior in any animal or birds. Killing just for the nesting material. There could be others, just haven't them. I know cuckoo birds lay their eggs in other birds nests, but the cuckoo hatchling does the killing.

The baby birds made combined and strong efforts but the cruel bird wants to make his own nest and ruined the other's and the mother bird did nothing.

In nature mother usually protect their babies, lionesses, tigers, etc. Looks like in birds only eagles do that.

If you look closely, periodically the mother flies around in the background being useless as always. I'm starting to hate birds.
