Narrator: In joy of her daughter-in-law's arrival, Sangeeta starts dancing with the women at the door, after which she takes her daughter-in-law down from the car and brings her inside where all the women shower flowers on Kanika.
Kanika: (happy) Maaji, you are welcoming me as if I am not your daughter-in-law but the queen of some state.
Sangeeta: (Happily) Even the queen of any kingdom would pale in comparison to the beauty of my daughter-in-law. Daughter-in-law, first of all dip your hands in this plate of turmeric and leave the impression of your hands on this wall and then put this urn filled with rice on your right foot. Drop down from this pot and place both your feet on this white cloth and enter inside your house.
