KK was my biggest influence in (guitar) music in my formative years. My nickname for many years was in fact, "KK." Naturally, I have great disappointment that KK is no longer touring with Priest, whom he founded. However, if this is what KK wants, reservedly, then I guess I need be considerate of him and thank him for the dedicated time and effort he gave us. I will always keep tabs on what he's doing.

It is always cool to hear from the man who inspired me to play guitar and I have to say, i saw priest in october and I have to say it was the best concert ive ever been to and the only way it could have been better is if you had been playing as well. Well have a great summer Mr. Downing.

K.K., firstly, I know you probably hear this all the time, but most of my very favorite Priest solos are yours. I know most people prefer Glenn, and while he is amazing in his own right and also among my favorite guitarists, I prefer your style. Anyways, I wish you luck on your journey! The Astbury Hall Estate looks absolutely stunning!

Count me as another guitar player/songwriter hugely influenced by Priest and on the verge of releasing my debut. Seems most bands these days don't get that melody can be the most important part of a song's heaviness. It's not all just low-E bashing and screaming. Guys, you know what would be cool? A Painkiller animated movie. K.K. if you're reading this get on it. :p
