Doctors was telling me I would never have a baby so I continued to pray to Jehovah God and continue to keep faith and in my prayers I ask before I turn 40 please bless my wth a healthy babygirl and he did exactly that at 39 yrs old I became a Mother she was born September 10,2009, she's 14 yrs old first yr in high school am 54 yrs old never gotten pregnant after I had her got my tubes tied and when this song came out was dedicated to her .

I’m crying as I type this because this song was one I played on repeat at my lowest….being homeless, living in my car with 2 toddlers in the winter time was one of the hardest times I’ve ever faced in my life And I played this song so much Prayed so much Cried so much And finally after living in my car with my kids for 6 months we were blessed to be accepted into a program that gave us free housing for 2 years and free utilities I cried tears of joy and played this song and cried more because me and my childrens ship had finally come

My wife was diagnosed with MS. 18 YEARS AGO and was in the medical field. Just as she was getting ready to start school to be an RN she lost movements in her legs and now in a wheelchair. I watch her go through her days of feeling depressed, but like I tell her don't give up brother keep pushing forward. Why wasnt this song not a bigger hit? Its a great song. Moments like this makes me proud to be a black american. I want to go back to the 90s when i saw this so much more.

My love of 22 years ❤❤❤ We were teens and when he met me he rescued me at 15 from a girls worst nightmare in her own home… We separated being young at 17 and got 20 yrs he chased me with tears in his eyes and prayers on his heart. Always including God! When I felt my love ship was just a dream and I was broken, God (again) placed him in the right position in my life. He again has rescued my heart, restored my soul and all while putting God at the forefront. He still has become the man, leader spiritually and emotionally I have always prayed for while my emotional love essence was fading… He’s my everything!!! And I’m his too!!! He plated this song for me and although I remembered it (being 38) he brought a whole new meaning to it. Our love is our ship. His 20 yr journey was different than mine, but we both were looking for one another and craving the ultimate love that we had and knew existed because of us…. It’s never left 😢😢😢 22 full years of having it right in reach. I’m soo blessed y’all. God really loves us 😢❤❤❤❤

I’m reflecting on the past 10 years of my life. They have been tumultuous with low lows, but high highs. I just have to give God glory for keeping me; especially when I didn’t have sense enough to want to be kept. God helped me thru it all. I really can’t take any credit and I’m grateful to be alive. 💙

Never grows old. Its an eternal song of inspiration and hopefully truth for many of us. It is surely true for me and I just keep on giving thanks.

this is a bittersweet song for me. I really love it...but when this song was released in 2008...my mom and I listened to it in the car everyday. but she passed shortly after..But I still love this song. great job k jon

I used to sing this when lost my job years ago. Now singing for my own business.

Around the time this song came out, I had just gotten into graduate school at NYU. I could finally pursue my lifelong goal of working in music business. Felt like it would never happen (since I was originally from a small town). Tried multiple times, never worked out. This song played the day I found out I got accepted into the school. 10+ years later, still working in the business + living in NYC. Whew!

Today June 26, 2022 my one and only sister has been gone a year. I truly do miss her, my mom, and brothers! This song is so touching for me every time I hear it I think of them and cry silently!
