Indie pop singer and rapper K Flay played a special live set at the JBTV studio. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, she didn't take up music until she was a student at Stanford starting in 2004. At first she began parodying mainstream rap music as more of a joke but then decided to dedicate more time to music in a more serious way. She released several mix tapes and EPs independently since 2004 and she recently she released her debut full length album Life As A Dog [Bummer Picnic Records].
