What K is going through is unimaginable especially as a musician. Thank God though that she's still able to put out these bombers. I dont really play rap much any more but I make sure my daughters get their weekly dose of K.Flay. Great inspiration and role model in my eyes. Love this woman

This put a smile on my face, because it feels so relatable, not the fact of you getting charged $13,000, but the idea that we sometimes think we're alone in experiencing the ridiculous things in the world. The reason i smiled about it is it does kind of feel like dark humor, or a nervous joke of some sort, but i also think about how some of us are victims of other people's insanity, or at least that's what they want us to believe.. which begs the question, "Are you serious?" Just remember, and don't forget, there is someone else who understands your frustrations and would tell you your feelings are valid, as well as your analysis of a situation.. This is something i am trying to remember, rather than leaning into every wtf moment. However, when you feel the need, feel free to laugh like a hyena at the absurdity, and try not to twist your neck 360 degrees.. 😅

It’s called Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) and there still isn’t a medical understanding of what causes it. All they know is it’s not a physical damage issue with the ear structure - essentially the ear is functioning as it should but the signal is getting lost or scrambled somewhere on the processing side. I know about it because it happened to me four years ago at 35 while I was watching tv after a late night at work. Loudest ringing ever in my right ear suddenly and it wouldn’t go away so I went to sleep and woke up with vertigo and only 5% hearing left in my right ear. If steroids don’t cause improvement when treated immediately afterwards you are basically stuck with the hearing loss permanently, and that’s where I’m at too.
