@@sir_al3x maybe it would be weaker if you use weaker spring but that would ruin your fps , simply using the gun worked for me since it made the resistance weaker over time xd bigger problem is the safety part at the end of the bolt, it can rotate if loose enough and then jam your whole gun

Hello, thank you for nice video. I have d-boy spring version kar98k. What is the difference between a gas version and spring version? Body and trigger is same and only bolt assembly is different, right? Can I change my kar98k from spring to gas version after purchasing a gas bolt?

Hi, the difference is in the Cartrige chamber, the spring version got another "nose" at the end of the bolt and have between 275 ~ 350 fps, the gas version is a way stronger and can be upgraded (inner barrel) today i've changed the inner barrel of my spring version (the problem with the standard barrel was, the barrel consists in two different pieces one 25cm with 6mm inner diameter and the other with 8mm inner diameter and its hard to get a straight shot with it, i've changed it to a 50cm stainless steel tube with 6mm inner diameter and now the gun shoots perfectly)

sure , 98K got a rail beside the rear sight , but the Replica scope only got 1.5X

you can get the double-bell kar98k on Ebay. i got myself the spring powered version with a scope included.

Got a brand new K98k DB and have 2 major issues I’m wondering if anyone can help with… Every 4th or so shell gets left in the chamber and if your not paying attention you can double feed. Frustrating as you need to keep your fingers in the feeder to prevent loading another shell - to then have another go at getting the shell out of the chamber with the bolt. I also find accuracy is terrible. Can’t hit an a4 piece of paper at 10m or less aiming down off a deck.. is this normal. (I was shooting champion at my school, but no level of skill can put a bullet anywhere near target)

for the first issue, i would suggest you'd remove the re assemble the floor plate and to make sure it functions properly, I would also suggest to stack the shells back towards the bolt where it would feed one shell at a time. make sure you are pushing the bolt as swiftly so it feeds one at a time. for the second issue, id say that DB doesn't manufacture the very accurate weapons, especially the kar98 i would suggest that you would use heavier bb's.

yes the same brand. penultimate shell always jumps out during reloading attemp. it should load into the chamber, instead it jumps out :/

ic , thats the first time i heard this problem , i think you can push the bolt slowly and see which point make you shell jumps out ... maybe the (mag spring) too hard or too weak...make the (mag lip) cant hold the shell

spring? u bought a spring version? ....the spring ver. is a very bad system(PUSH bolt)...not recommend do any mod on it...wasting time

Haven’t seen any bad reviews for it, just that it’s not an exceptionally performing airsoft sniper. Got it mostly for looks. I’d love to make it more powerful.

@@sigve7008 trust me, you want to do this, this helps a lot. When you have it as default, the black stabilzer piece you see in the video, does not always align with the inner piece of the gun. So when you try to ram it shut, it will block up because it moves around like he shows at first. After putting the tape there, the black plastic piece does not move alot so it doesn't block as much anymore
