Hello everybody, and welcome to my first video of 2021!
About a month ago, I got the game Just Dance 2021, and I immediately fell in love with the dance for Drum Go Dum. It isn't my usual K-pop dance cover video, and while this hardly counts as a "real" dance, I still wanted to post a cover of it anyways! I had such a blast learning and recording this video. This time around, I really wanted to replicate "Just Dance" vibes by adding a bit more fancy camera editing work, which took a fair amount of time (keyframes are so tedious!). Nonetheless, I'm really pleased with how this turned out!
The choreography itself isn't too difficult, but the genre of dancing is different from what I'm used to, so there were some areas where I struggled. My camera also kept randomly un-focusing, so please ignore when the video becomes blurry! In addition, I managed to film in the worst possible lighting, so the light is super harsh. I deeply apologize, and I will strive to make my future videos better and more enjoyable!

okay I know absolutely nothing about dancing (even though I’m obsessed with watching dance covers, especially yours HAHAH) but lemme just say you are such an EXPRESSIVE dancer, it’s so incredible. those facials are amazing, every time I watch your covers I can tell you’re really having fun and that you love what you do and that’s so endearing 🥺 PLUS i also must mention the fact that, for all your covers, you take the time to learn the lyrics so that you can lip sync while recording the video- it really really does add to the cover and your overall performance and omg i really can’t believe im friends with someone like you who is sooo talented. literally EVERY. SINGLE. MOVE in this was executed incredibly well and I really enjoyed watching, like I was smiling the whole time, that’s how good this was 😭😭 I would also like to comment on the video editing like YESSS I love all the “movements” you added (I don’t know the proper terminology JSSKSDJ) and how the black bar thingamajigs move too. THIS WHOLE COVER WAS SOOO GOOD 😭😭 also I don’t think the lighting was bad at all I actually thought it was kinda nice ??/&:&’ but then again I don’t know a lot about that stuff 😩 anyway, GREAT JOB. I mean it. even though this choreography is a different genre from what you’re used to, you really pulled it off and it didn’t look like you struggled at all like OMG 😔❤️ aaaaaa what a great way to start 2021

How do you edit and get the camera twists and stuff?? What are key frames? I wanna do this sjdbrba😍😍

I use the program Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my videos! using the software, you can create keyframes, which basically create markers/time stamps in the video. from there, you can move the video (zoom in, rotate) and the video will do that in between each keyframe. there are some great tutorials online if you want more info! ^^

yes I do! I play it on a speaker, and then when I edit my videos, I mute the dance and sync the separately-recorded audio with the dance! I hope this helps~~
