काचबिंदूला Hindi मध्ये कालमोतिया असं सुद्धा म्हणतात. आपला डोळा आतून पाण्याने भरला आहे. डोळ्यांमध्ये एक in-built Pressure असते. या pressure ला Intraocular Pressure असं म्हणतात.

काचबिंदू हा आजार आपल्याला Family कडून Hereditary disorder म्हणून पण मिळू शकतो. जर आपल्याला Myopia (Nearsightedness) असेल तर काचबिंदूचा धोका वाढू शकतो. Eye Injury पण एक risk factor आहे.
