Nice ride along KS-10 West from Lenexa Kansas to Lawrence Kansas
KU students in Metro Kansas City can use that road to avoid the tolls of I-70/Kansas Tpke to get to KU.

Yep
K-10 started as an extension of 63rd Street on the Kansas side and wound it's way west to US 59 in Lawrence. It was rebuilt into a freeway, primarily to service the University of Kansas without tolls, and as relief for the then-four-lane Turnpike. K-10 now connects with the Turnpike on the west side of Lawrence, and K-Dot has built it to expand to four lanes where needed as the city grows.
Nice drive on K-10 west. It seems like this highway should at least be four lanes between Lawrence and the KC metro.

They probably don’t want to make it too good or else people might choose it over the turnpike.
