I agree, it always goes a long way. You can tell he's an expert wrapper, the car doesn't matter to him, the wrap job does. He seems like he'd do the same quality work even if it was just a civic

Man you don't understand sanding, one direction doesn't mean only sand to the left, it's horizontal on one grit, then vertical on the other. Basically side to side, then up and down, then back to side to side. It's always going to be "back and forth" but when they meant one direction they meant east to west VS north to south

They were talking about the ceramic coating, not the sanding process. The ceramic coat is all supposed to be applied in one direction, in order to keep the layer as smooth as possible.

Hey man, you can get countersunk blind rivets and a countersink and you can make those rivets completely disappear under the wrap!

ngl i love that colour combo, looks fresh, i havnt really ever seen it before

I can't help but giggle thinking of Adam saying he will very rarely drift or drag or make much noise at the compound because he doesn't want to annoy the neighbours when he first moved in lol

I love the effort that you're willing to put in to each of your builds - even if you know they're not going to be perfect when you're done, you still make sure they're the best they can be. Much better than just churning out average jobs for content. 👍👍👍

The yellow looks great! I dig the wheels too! Keep the dark blues on there. I think the blacked out grille makes more sense too if you keep the dark rims.

I really love the wheel. It fits the car.

The chaser is one of my favorite cars, mostly because it's the one that is relatable, just a drivers car built to perform, nothing crazy, just good driving and good looking

@@nathancilia1278 I'm sure he meant Adam's chaser specifically. Everyone sees that it's a midsize sedan.. This one is a driver's car though in a sense that it is fun, simple and reliable. He can just hop in and shred some tires without having to worry too much. That's why it's perfect for driftweek.

@@nathancilia1278 youre wrong my friend, the chaser IS a performance drivers car as it was built by toyota as one. This is the version with the jzgte which is not actually a luxury commercial car rather a performer being that with 4 doors.

I was thinking about what colour it was going to get wrapped with the blue wheels and thought yellow would look pretty slick. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Just wanna say, thanks for all your videos and info! Crazy to see your old posts on the JZX pages with a ton of information and guidance for others to read/see. Not many people are open to sharing that info.

wow headlights turned out amazing and also the color for the new wrap is just waht i had in mind for it, love the yellow.

When it comes to restoring headlights, you gotta either go hard with a ceramic coating (everyone, just ceramic your fuckin cars. Lasts months, protects everything super well, easier than wax) or you gotta hit them with clear coat. They go yellow because the UV coating breaks down and the sunlight and heat degrades the plastic. It's easy to buff them back to clear, but you're left with bare, porous plastic with no protective coating and they'll be even more yellow than before in a few weeks. Clear coat is ideal, ceramic is also great,just don't leave them bare

Your absolutely spot on, I did my headlights a couple of times over the years, but without a proper coating they only looked goof for 6 months max. The best solution? Find some new old stock headlights. I found one on eBay for like £30 when the dealer wanted over £250, and the found the other side a few weeks later for like £70. Both brand new. Easily made the car look 10 years newer.

Hey Lucas, our Ceramic Headlight Restoration kit he used includes a ceramic coating applied with a wipe to prevent them from yellowing again

hey.. why you'll don't try painting the trim in "Hyper black" or even " Gun metal". They're both darker than the chrome but not as dark as a black.
