JZTVlive interview with the Pointer Sisters
JZTVlive at the Family Film Awards last year. One of the last interviews I did with the Pointer Sisters. So sad to hear that Bonnie Pointer passed away. She was always a pleasure to interview and had such great energy, beautiful smile and she was always kind to everyone ❤️ She will be missed ❤️

This video was filmed only three years ago, and since then, we've lost both Bonnie and Anita. Tough pill to swallow. I hope they knew how much joy they brought to so many of us.

Some of the best videos of the sisters now are Anita and Bonnie together. Ruth likes pointing out that Bonnie left the group a long time ago, but what no one can ever forget is that it was because of Bonnie that the world got to know a group of singing siblings called the "Pointer Sisters." Love seeing them so happy together. R.I.P. dear Bonnie.

@@janetzipperhost Now in interviews Ruth is saying, the Pointer Sisters started in her father's church. Okay, if Bonnie had not gone above and beyond the church, would the world know about 4 sisters singing in the choir of a church in Oakland? Doubt it!
