A little late but he actually wrote the beginning "I pray to God let me die in my sleep" when he was in a bad place(he attempted suicide twice his friend Avani stayed with him so he wouldn't harm himself) he never finished the song. But when he got better he wrote the mid/ending "I pray to God I don't die in my sleep" because he actually experienced everything.
