Hi. Which hotel would you recommend - Thompson Nashville, The Westin Nashville or JW Marriot? Thanks.

Hello. I haven’t stayed at the Westin before but between the JW and Thompson I would recommend the Thompson. While the JW is nice the Thompson has a more laid back feel to it to me. If your looking to hit the nightlife the Thompson is right in the Gulch area.

Enjoyed the review! I want to surprise my wife with a luxurious, quieter stay for a mature couple. Would you recommend this or any other hotel in downtown Nashville, and why?

Of the hotels in Nashville I have stayed at I think this or the Grand Hyatt would be best for a more quite atmosphere. I love the Thompson Nashville but it may have more of a party vibe as it sits right in the Gulch area where there is lots of nightlife. The Union Station Autograph Collection hotel is more of a historic property so doesn’t have the modern look but has its charm however. Check out my review on the Grand Hyatt Nashville, Thompson, and Union Station Hotel in Nashville to get a better idea for comparison. This may help your decision making process.

What website did you text to get a discount on the hotel? Marriott directly?

No discount given. Was just upgraded from original room booked. This was booked directly with Marriott.
