Pelo que percebi em agudos estão bem semelhante mas o grave do j700 é mais macio profundo.!!

Sound quality is much better, especially mids and highs, they get quite a bit louder than the gt80/90. Nice and crisp sound from the J series systems. The gt80/90's bass is a lot better than J series, actually most all of giga-tube/g-max series will have louder and deeper bass than J series. J series excels in clarity loudness in the highs over the older gt80/90, but not the later MX models like mx-gc5 or mx-gb6
