He is kind to only break one arm. The shoulder can be popped back on, liked that he used the suplex at the end. Is a lariat practical in a real fight?

Oh no 😂 no they aren’t Unless your trying to throw your opponent, hitting your opponent with your upper arm probably won’t do much damage Lariats are more of an anime thing

I really enjoy professional wrestling but can all these animes stop pretending that its a legitimate martial art?

don't a lot of pro wrestlers have a history of amateur wrestling?

@@JHMninja89 I dont know, but youll never see amateur wrestlers trying to lariet and dropkick people in a real fight. It just looks really bad in the context of a show thats aiming for a realistic grounded approach to fighting.

@alt0799 I don't know about anime, but pro wrestling is a legit "martial arts" and can be devastating. I mean look at Zangief (Street Fighter) and King (Tekken).

@@keroro407 No dude. Its barely a spectator sport. No one in a million years would suggest pro wrestling is effective for self defense. And you just gave fictional characters as examples...

It's a product of Japan. Pro wrestling in Japan has roots in legitimate martial arts AND it's got a dojo culture that heavily echoes old martial arts culture. A lot of what the guys are learning in terms of basic grappling AND chain wrestling IS stuff that's effective in a real fight. Add on the fact that Antonio Inoki, a LEGENDARY pop culture figure in Japan was all about representing pro wrestling as a martial arts and this is what you get. The idea of pro wrestling as a martial art is a strong, strong thing in Japanese culture and it's something that you're not going to see go away for a long time even if it is very silly.

So disappointed in this anime, fights were slower than actual real life human fights... Kengan Aushura is still the best hand to hand martial art anime.

It looks great I was watching baki manga/anime 12 years ago. But if you can stand the non stop exposition in baki this should of been a treat. The pacing was fine.
