That's some good footage of the Jacksonville FL location. Pretty cool they still used stuff from the prototype/beta Rock Afire Explosion like the drums, keyboard, sign, props, and the things for the backdrop. The only thing that seemed to be updated at that point was the valence and the characters on stage.

Glad you got to share this with us, it's sad to see a lot of these animatronics being neglected nowadays, they looked so fluid and life like back then, and so immersive and fun, and now Showbiz Pizza was converted to Chuck E Cheese (Nothing rong with CEC just liked Showbiz Pizza better) but now Chuck E Cheese has a stupid dance floor to look at while you eat, and even before they took them out the animatronics were so stiff and the suits were falling apart and the pneumatics were running out of lifespan slowing them down and making the movements less fluid, and the visuals suck, it's sad to see what was once a flourishing pizza place with lots of cool art, visuals, arcade games, animatronics, and good times that's now a dance floor with zero animatronics (the most iconic part) and oh the tokens were amazing as well, used to hold a stash of em' now you have to use cards, they don't have that feel that the tokens have just taking your tokens out of your pockets while there loaded with tokens inserting them into the arcade machine, and if you had a parent or sibling you would most likely divide tokens equally, many good times but we must move on now, people who have never went to Chuck E Cheese or Showbiz Pizza nowadays probably will never know what it was like... but we can look to the people who are restoring them and bringing them back one by one.

You can tell how old this recording is just from the cars at the beginning, lol. It’s amazing to me how when you forget about all the mechanical workings inside them, these characters really do feel ‘alive’. Going down to “that pizza place with the cool singing robot animals” in early 1980’s Florida feels like such a vibe…

Its decades later and it was private to family, but this is a important piece of history of the Showbiz Pizza Place, it shows the good times and the day that people would've had in that diner, and after it closed footage was probably scarce and rare, so they uploaded it.

Judging by its age (no newer than the turn of the 90s, since that's when Rock-Afire ceased to exist), I think it's a safe assumption that the kid _is_ the uploader.
