I'm a volunteer firefighter in Nova Scotia and i have my Wildland certificate from our DNR and i can tell you that the forestry management is one of the biggest problems with these fires. Fuel load removal is the primary tool firefighters have to prevent and control these things but there's too much deadfall on the forest floor now. These fires get too big too fast and they have decades of fuel piled up. Everything the "environ-mentalists" claim is the fix is actually turning out to be enabling the problem. Forestry and forestry management is how we clean up the environment and make it liveable for all of Earth's creatures.

My brother is a forestry technician in BC. His job is to make sure that the forest is healthy, logging is done ecologically, dead underbrush is dealt with and that the forest can grow back healthy. Rules & regulations have been making things harder for him to do his job in helping the forest thrive. 30 years in the field & no matter what he says, government officials tell him that he is wrong

After returning to Alberta for the first time in 35 years, I was dismayed by the condition of the National and Provincial parks, and expressed concern that there would be a lot of forest fires with the tremendous amount of dead, poorly planted trees, underbrush, etc. Also, the forest did not smell right to me. I am wondering how much of an impact the use of aluminum salts in cloud seeding operations is affecting the health of the forest.

And Trudeau threatened to not give Sask our cheques. So I thought maybe that was the case. I would be all for not getting them and having prices go down but if we are going to be charged carbon taxes and have no choice then we better be getting that money even if it isn’t near what we pay in taxes.
