Interpreters have a harder time translated from Macron, then from Trudeau... a bit odd. Macron’s French is too complicated, or had the translators been provided with Trudeau’s prepared remarks in advance ??

The Trudeau government has been unusually silent on the Kinder Morgan pipeline crisis. Canada desperately needs to expand its exports if it expects to convert to a zero carbon economy. Trudeau is on record as being on side with Kinder Morgan's pipeline project and needs to step up to the plate and get his selfie loving hands dirty. Trudeau's looking for positive photo op moments with pretty speeches like the one your witnessing here but all the while our competitiveness is falling behind the rest of the world. The failure of Kinder Morgan will show how Trudeau is an ineffectual Prime Minister who avoids difficult problems even though he has a majority government. How sad is this?

Darlene, I am on your side. Trudeau is talking about environment to look good but his actions are on opposite side. BC is supposed to stop coal extraction and do not want the pipeline on his territory. They have the Pacific Ocean on their side as a giant source of energy. Just hope they develop this kind of energy.

I bet they get along much better then with trump.
