❤Lovely; Amerie was a very distinguished and truly a beautiful artist for all time. Today, that song still strikes a cord with me. I agree she deserves more honors for that album because it was both fire and had stars like qualities about it period. Plus Amerie , was a natural talent that made her personal singing skills effortless. Amerie, you may no longer sang this genre of music but always remember there is gospel Woman of God! All praises belong to him! Hallelujah, and Amen !🙌🏾🙏🏾 🔥✨🔥✨🔥✨🔥✨🔥

Beautiful girl for sure, although the the people around her really didn't have her back, because she definitely has talent. Total package and great artist. But it could of been a hedge of protection, because things happen for a reason and who's to say her time isn't still to come if that's the desire.

This was categorically and sonically the best album of '02. Beyonce rode the wave of her Destiny Child fame and also when she tapped Amerie producer Rich Garrison for the Crazy in Love track to catapult her fame. Ashanti had the Murder Inc machine behind her. Amerie has a powerful voice, great subject matter, sex appeal and was squeaky clean. That was her demise because also subscribing to the DC go-go sound, she became limited as an artist with no major label push. Amerie is amazing and should be cherished

There are many spiritual / religious artists who have gained massive success in music. Contrary to a conspiracy theorists belief, Beyoncé is one of them. Her mother always kept her and her sister involved with their faith and thanking God in her earlier speeches. Some artists just lost momentum for whatever reason, amerie being one of them and it could b bc she didn’t want to put up with industry bs
