This was categorically and sonically the best album of '02. Beyonce rode the wave of her Destiny Child fame and also when she tapped Amerie producer Rich Garrison for the Crazy in Love track to catapult her fame. Ashanti had the Murder Inc machine behind her. Amerie has a powerful voice, great subject matter, sex appeal and was squeaky clean. That was her demise because also subscribing to the DC go-go sound, she became limited as an artist with no major label push. Amerie is amazing and should be cherished
