That was so damn good Justin. One of the best for me! I love how he moved around the whole arena and engaged the WHOLE crowd and even got in there with the people. Hardly was he in one place so everyone in the arena could enjoy. Tribute to Prince was absolutely beautiful. Turning Minneapolis purple with the Prince symbol. GENIUS! Awesome! Don't know what the issue is and why people didn't like it. The crowd absolutely loved it and they should be the judge. To be able to move around like he did, dance, sing and everything else he did and to sound great (yes at times, and no doubt he will agree, a little off. SO would you if you moved around and dance and sung like he just did!) Are they aware of the extent this man and his team went to for this? How many people were employed for this? I guess some people what an artiest to remain on the stage or move to the field then back on the stage. With the people behind missing out. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Keep doing your thing Mr TImberlake, you are an absolute outstanding performer, singer and true artist of musician xxoxx

Prince sings "from across the grave" every time someone plays one of his recordings. Would you have the playing of Prince's music universally banned? It was a tribute to great musician in his hometown and very tastefully done. There was no hologram, just a short video of one of his performances (something you can easily find on KZread) played along with his vocals and Justin sang and played along. It was very classy and y'all need to calm the heck down.

My mom and I grew up listening to JT and we used to sing to him all the time, seeing him be in the superbowl was absolutely insane because I looked up to him all my life. For people like me, it was absolutely amazing and it brought me back to those good memories 😅

It's not judging its critiquing two different things. Just because i can't sing doesn't mean i cant tell when someone else can't sing. We may not be as good as JT, but we have people we can compare his performance to and it was not on par with many of them. Visually it was excellent but execution and vocals were meh.

If we’re comparing it to what it could have been with Janet or whomever else, then yes you’d say it was boring. If you let JT just be him, and adjust all of your expectations to him and you’re a genuine fan of HIM, then the performance was great! Bottom line, stop with the bs comparisons and let the man live. She’s not saying LOWER your expectations. She’s saying stop comparing it to what it could’ve been, based on what you expected him to do. He did what he did, which is his standard set he usually does and did a good job. His fans recognize everything he did up there and he did it well. If you don’t then that’s cool too, but the show was going to be what you saw no matter all the hype and rumors.

I was really impressed actually. He could have sang a little louder, but he was killing it as far as performing goes. And there wasn't anything weird, like Cee Lo Green coming out in a black robe, or a bunch of people in animal costumes dancing. It was nice to have a relatively normal halftime show.

He could have just said "what a great performance" him saying it was the best ever, you could even see JT reaction " like really I know it wasn't the best ever"

I love how he takes time to say thanks / gives a shout out to the producer, the choreographer, the set designer and production designer as well as director of the Super Bowl Halftime show. He never said things like "I wanted to create..." or "I wanted to do this or that..." Instead he gave credit where credit was due. He didn't take all the credit for a show that size. NOT!!!

Should have brought in NSYNC for the Halftime show.

Yes justin! It was an outstanding performance epically in a beautiful memory of prince! He is very pleased and grateful.

They are amazing together I think it's awesome that they can make fun of each other

Janet and Britney would never come! But nsync probably would but they shouldn't the way they treated those guys over the years. He should have invited other artists.

It was amazing! Especially the purple all over the city.

Obviously the people who thought this halftime show was good either have super super low standards or they havent seen a superbowl before.

Justin did a good job! Love the Prince tribute. Actually one of the best tributes to to him, in my opinion. And in Prince’s home state. So respectful, thoughtful and beautiful. Tastefully done.

To the new generation Justin’s performance may have not been their favorite but for us who grew up with Justin Timberlake as our main male superstar we appreciated his performance because when you think of JT as a performer he did nothing more and nothing less of who he is as an artist. And he lived up to every expectation for us .. it was one of my favorite performances for a halftime show, I felt like a kid again screaming my lungs out with all the other girls lol😅

Look, he did his own style...and, as usual, did it really well...very talented man. This was the best half time since Michael Jackson in '93. The guy does not try to be someone else...I like that about him. I bet his is a good dude in everyday life.

JTs tribute to Prince was a fabulous homage to a great artist. The city being lit up purple was awesome. #stophating. #thanksjustin

I only liked the Prince moment. Because it`s Prince.

I like JT and I don't believe Janet should've been there. But I do think NSYNC should have been there. That is a part of his music history. I LOVED it when he did it at the VMAs.
