To have JT is actually a brilliant move since Can’t Stop The Feeling (and a lot of other songs of both JT and *NSYNC) were written and produced by Max Martin. A way to represent Sweden in a way that people might not think of.

He is the definition of a talented and complete artist: he sings, dances, acts, writes, produces, plays instruments... 🙏🏻💖

This was the highlight of the evening, alongside "Love Love, Peace Peace", he was better than half of the finalists!

'Can't Stop the Feeling' is a song and a half! This was its premier and I still remember people on social media joking "What's the number to vote for the US entry?". It was a million miles better than any song in the contest that year.

I still remember this performance. It was epic

Sweden picked Justin and this song because it's written, recorded and produced in Stockholm. Justin started his whole career in Nsync with Stockholm songs like "Bye Bye Bye" - it was a homecoming. (Check Max Martin, Denniz Pop and Cheyron Studios.)

@@ahl_legx2274 Good? Did you hear the same stream I did? She was off key so many times. Some have said it could have been an autotune issue. But I have to ask why was she using autotune in a song that did not need it. Funny thing is if you go to her page, she has a version where the audio was replaced. So clearly it was bad.

Simply part of the best Eurovision show ever... amazing entertainment and the greatest hosts. Justin Timberlake ... great performance and I love the song.... this perfection (the show in whole, except for that ridiculous winner) will never be improved!

Maaaaaan, the difference in act/vocals/musicality is HUUUGE compared to this year! Madonna was awful

America would win for it's experience in show biz and the finances that US is able to waste on eurovision... the reason why eurovision songs aren't yet pop hits is because it's done from the singers own budget if they have noone to support them, so they can't do amazing performances like JT did and they usually don't have a crew to help with song writing, 'cause there is no gain in winning eurovision and even so, the singers are developing every year and its getting better and better even with the short money that hey have.

2019 still here.. after madonna I can say.. thank you JT😍❤️

+Kewol i mean that the celebs like jt would still the spotlight from the participants without even competing. ppl would not pay as much as attention to the entries and would only care for the interval act. the participants try hard to win and get their music out to a much wider public. with such famous interval acts a little would actually care about the actual contest. but that's just my opinion

It was nice to have him here in Europe on our Eurovision stage... I love him as an artist but honestly I hope ESC won't ever include the USA or other countries in it. It will lose the magic this show has. I know they included Australia, but they are so isolated from the world ...and the watch it since the beginning. But I guess after Australia no one should be included anymore. And if the US should be included then with unknown artist and not superstars like Justin.

Why not? Only one artist will not destroy the magic. Imagine a big country (the US) and only one voice! It would increase the interest immensely. Good for European artists to expose themselves for the US market. The ESC is not about winning, it is about having fun and exposing for different cultures, and (good) laughing at each other.

@@violetmoon4236 We don't want the US in our tradition. Why is it so hard to understand that we want something that just belongs to us? That connects our continent. It was created to bring Europe together after WW2. And it is still something special to us. There are still people who don't like the fact Australia joined. ( Even if Australia wins one da, it wont be held in Australia as far as I know). Sure it can be a platform, but most of the participants still ain't Europeanwide famous nor had hits in every country's charts. But it doesn't matter, since it is much more than that. And of course it is also about winning. People who participate want to win....who doesn't is lying. btw Eurovision is on for 65 years, and the interest is now rising...Australia follows it for example fro over 30 years. (just to compare). The US can create their own tradition and their own show. The same with Asia and Southamerica. Sure beautiful continents but do your own stuff. Also if people wanted Worldvision they would've created it a long time ago. Also I don't know why they even included famous Hollywood singers instead of making amazing intervals which shows the traditions and culture of the hosting country like it should be.

@@Niki91-HR ESC is not European tradition. In fact the East Europe countries were excluded from the contest, but Morocco was and still is allowed to participate. Isreal is not even in Europe. Every country who is full member of and pays to EBU is allowed to participate. Iraq, Jordan, Syria and all north Africa countries are allowed to participate. The US could be invited as a guest, in the same way as Australia. In a long term, this can "destroy" the contest, for ex if the whole Africa is allowed. Some guest participation would be fine.

How ironic that Eurovision is being finally shown here in the States this year yet it was on an obscure channel and no advertising about it. Even worse, Eurovision is blocked for the first time in the United States on KZread this year.

No. Why?? The great part of the interval act is that the countries can show their culture , their kind of music and stuff.... I mean they don't have to but when they do it is amazing.

His coming to this contest is very nice... His energy♥★

I remember watching this at the time and just thinking what a hugely impressive performance this was.

RumRumRum if it was going to compete it would have to be cut down to 3 minutes, have no more than 6 people on stage and he's have to sing and not lip sync like all the other contestants.
