    I was as well thinking that it was appearing as though this particular gentleman had intended to persuade the detectives in a manner which would imply that he was more vocabularious than he actually was. Furthermore he only succeeded at communicating to the officers that he was more guilty than was first reported. Potentially he self incriminated himself by saying too much he has also not listen to his highly educated mother

    I’m a professional dog trainer of over 25yrs. That dog knew he was a threat. The dog read his energy it’s sad that she was unable to read him as well as the dog did. He hated the dog because the dog knew he was evil.

    His mom isn't a lawyer. Shes a judge. While having a law license she isnt practicing law she is presiding over the law. There is a slight difference. This case actually wasnt the worst example of her poor decision making. Her sons DUI arrest the year previous is the real mistake. Research that. Its wild.

    @dy1228 yep. All judges were former lawyers. But sitting as a traffic court judge for the last 15 years had obviously dulled her skills. I got a degree in IT (programming) in 2001. Guess what, its 2023 and i couldn't write one successful line of code on the first try. Its been too long for me

    Once he left the room where the dog was, he was no longer in danger. Going away to get a gun and going back toward the supposed danger makes no sense

    ​@@alvinstewart9412premeditated once he went to get the gun I mean one can argue again like he is arguing he may have made a bad choice but he thought that was the best choice premeditated means he planned it out as in prior I haven't finished watching the video yet I'm about an hour in but unless it's intentions from the beginning when she came to retrieve the dog was to shoot the dog then him going to retrieve a firearm after being attacked by the dog isn't premeditated It was a more in the moment or heat of the moment type thing.

    The fact that the officer had to "tread lightly" in order not to "offend" the JUDGE (who shouldn't even be there) because her influence could have a negative impact on his career when hes literally just doing his job clearly explains whats truly wrong with the American Justice system 🤷🏾‍♀️

    When I was growing up in West Texas I was never afraid of my Mother. But I was more afraid of what Mother would do to if I was arrested for anything serious. This kept me on the straight and narrow for a long time. I have been arrested twice in my twenties (public Intox and failure to pay a speeding ticket). I am 56 now and still live a law abiding life. In large part because of my Mother. Live well and keep smiling everyone....

    We all have made mistakes in life. I was always doing stupid stuff when growing up. I was in trouble with my mom more than my brothers but as an adult, yes mistakes but I do follow the law. The trick is learning from mistakes. Big ones like what Justin did was a real hard lesson. I hope that Jasmin recovered well and has moved on the greener pastures. Peace!

    How, as an attorney/judge and mother, do you tell him to tell the truth and make a statement? His first sentence was enough: "I was in fear for my life because the dog had already bit me once". He should have stopped there, and she knows that. Even the officer gave him more than one opportunity to evoke his right to remain silent.

    We also wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the more important case, the son’s criminal case and 3 charges. Unsurprisingly, a plea deal was reached where the prosecutors agreed that firing an AK47 into a closed closet where his girlfriend was cowering - and would sustain two severe gunshot wounds, they would drop the attempted murder and animal cruelty charges. In short, he would receive 10 years, with credit for time served and followed by 5 years probation, rather than the more appropriate life sentence he should have received…😡😡😡 if i go in there and act like i am educated, things will go fine😂😂 what a asshole

    She’s a grown ass woman. She did not have to be there. She should have left her son to the wolves. She should have never been there to being with. That’s why she was suspended and charged a hefty fine.

    Here we see an example of spoiling your kids, not saying "No", and letting them get away with whatever they want. Another "Black Lives Matter" judge too over there defending her son (a conflict of interest) who tried to murder a Black woman. He got off with a lesser crime even though he clearly was trying to murder her. Ugh disgusting.

    I don't care if the Mother is the Queen of England,she should not be involved in her Son's case. It will backfire on her. For her to ask for him not to be booked is her saying I dont want the public to know its my Son. He had an AK in the house with his child unlocked.

    My mom is a nurse, and if I’m hospitalized she’s not supposed to even look at my file. She has to give it to another nurse. I would think that a lawyer representing their grown child is a bit more serious, and shouldn’t be allowed.

    Options: open door to child's room and instruct them to stay on the bed-- tell them the dog is misbehaving and you'd already been bitten; take four year old and go make a phone call to have girlfriend and her dog removed from the home by LE; calm the child, then sit quietly in the hall and speak at a conversational tone until girlfriend has agreed to come away from the dog to have a discussion in the living-room. Mom must have tried pulling strings if her "staff" became an issue. Sheesh, what a mess.

    This guy is all over the place....LOL He got the gun to shoot the dog, because it was disgruntled, yet the dog was in another room behind a locked door. He doesn't remember the fight reason, then it's because she wanted to stay???? Then, he says there are text messages as proof, and next sentence...he isn't sure if there are, he will have to look...Then he says he tried to get in the room with a butter knife, and then refutes that he said that 1minute later...ROFL And that is just 4 of the things w/in 15 minutes. Pathetic

    The mom actually did get put on suspension and had to pay a $30,000 dollar fine. At least she didn’t get away unscathed. She needs to let him grow up. He has been in a lot of trouble. Google told me. 😊

    A dog is not a threat behind a closed door! His story doesn't hold water. Also, if he thought the dog would be a threat if she opened the door, then why didn't he just grab his son and leave the house? If the dog was such a problem, then why didn't he just call animal control and have them pick the dog up way before this escalated into a big fiasco? 🤔
