I met Justin after a session he gave in a nearby church. Both he & I in wheelchairs, talking about the presentation and getting to know one another, praising God for being so gracious to us in salvation and daily living. Amen! I'm not in a wheelchair, but I do have epilepsy, which is fairly disabling all on its own. I praise the Lord for His grace in salvation, and my faith in Him is stronger than ever (itself is a gift). I've found that having a disability is actually a good lead-in to sharing the gospel, since lots of people find it strange that having faith while struggling with a disability is even possible, let alone having a faith that is openly marked by praise. God bless you!

I love Brother Peters. Being raised in church and around the charismatic/word of faith/etc doctrines I’ve come to the realization over the last year that what I learned was not exegesis of the scriptures. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. Believers who are suffering with a sickness, a disease or a disability certainly are not comprehending what scripture is relating and this is why they have allowed sin and the devil to destroy their lives. The most unique ending ever.

I too am in inner turmoil like Justin was describing. I know that repentance is required and I know that I can't muster it up on my own power. But I obviously screw up all the time. The only text that gives me any sort of consolation is Romans 7. But I don't understand what repentance looks like practically speaking. How do I know when it's authentic vs when it's just me muscling through something? It gets so tiring trying to look for evidence of my salvation. I'm basically continually discouraged. I have a hard time praying. I feel like I'm doing it wrong when I do, which is why I have a hard time doing it. Any tiny bit of assurance that I ever have is always destroyed by the next sin. I can go on and on. It's just a big, jumbled mess.

I wish I was able to type a long response to you; but I wanted you to know that you just described my entire life until about a month ago (how I perceived myself as a Christian, born into a charismatic church and remained until recently, aged 56!!!!!) I understand exactly what you mean. All I can tell you is that inwardly I was starving spirituality, and continued to cry out to God when I didn't know what else to do. I was in my bathroom, alone, and He seemed to suddenly be present with me like I had never experienced before. I know He will reveal Himself and His truth to you, because He did it for me! All I know is it's very new to me, and I'm learning and growing every day in Him. Reading His word is vital ❤ I encourage you to follow Justin Peters on KZread. God keeps opening my eyes to SO MANY THINGS! "Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land,and feed on His faithfulness". "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart". Psalms 37: 4,5 ❤

@@kimberlyelliott7933 my background is different. I've been following all the reformed guys like Justin for 3 years now. I'm just perfectionistic about everything and it destroys my assurance when I sin even though I know I can't be perfect. It's a hard thing to deal with.

Dear troubled friend, Saved people do sin, but they hate it; lost people love sin but they hide it, i.e. Romans chapter 7. As Justin Peters said, your perspective of your personal sin determines whether you are regenerate or not. Examine yourself, then ask yourself, do you love your sin or hate it? Our hatred of sin demonstrates that we love Gods law. again, Romans 7. See also, 1 Corinthians 11:31 & 1 John 1:9. Lastly, if you spend too much time looking at your sinfulness, and little time looking at Jesus Christ who died for sinners you'll never be free from your guilt. Yes you sinned, but Christ died for sinners and is risen again as the conquerer of sin, the devil and death. To disbelieve the sacrifice Jesus Christ offered for sin is a far greater sin than all of those you have ever committed in your entire lifetime. So look to Jesus, and don't let the devil or your own guilt convince you that you're to great a sinner for Christ to save. The bible says he that believes shall be saved, not he that sinless. To look too deeply at yourself, as to whether you are worthy or unworthy of God's favor is just another form of pride. Part of denying ourselves is acknowledging our unworthiness, but it is also acknowledging Christʾs worth. That is the greatest expression of true humility. He is our hope of glory, which we in our own strength always fall short of. I too struggled exactly like you are, until I was fully convinced that I could not do enough or anything to remove my guilt. It was only then that I put my trust fully in Jesus Christ to do for me what I could not do myself. I had no more options. Trusting means placing your confidence in the truth as God has revealed it. The devil is, and always was, a liar and wants you to believe that your sins are unforgivable becase thet are too great for God to cleanse you of. My dear friend the only way to conquer that lie of the devil and your own doubts is to believe and rest in him who is truth itself. Then you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free...

If someone has a false view of what salvation is, it can often lead to a false conversion. I, too, had a false conversion at the age of 13. I got saved 20 years later.

Justin DOES NOT preach the Gospel of the Kingdom nor the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His heart is in the right place but the Kingdom of God is about power...not words. It is unfortunate that he sought healing from ministers who did not have the faith to heal him. So. Hear is a list of ministers who DO have the faith to heal : Curry Blake, Pete Cabrera Jr. Pastor Tom Loud and any one of the 150,000 people that Curry Blake has trained to heal. I could name more, but space does not allow it. Both Justin Peters and our dear sister J.E.Tada, need not be confined to their wheel chairs. Explore the world of healing Justin, and you will walk.

🤦 I hv no other words but all these fake healing, casting out demons from Christian, tithing, tongues etc r really getting out of hands these days. Healing but NO proof to support. Only to deceived others for money 🤑

It’s funny how people that comment on God doing miracle in their life, Justin says we don’t go by experiences. But he is allowed to go by experiences. He makes his ministry tearing down all that are Charismatic. He does not make his ministry preaching the gospel. Of course he doesn’t have a gospel to preach, because he believes only those predestined by God can be saved. So therefore there is no good news for sinners. You are condemned by God, and then have to stand before that same God and be judged for what God already predetermined for your life. YOU CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP.
