OMG This got me bawling my eyes out bc of my daddy too.. When my son told me he was gonna be a dad that was the first thing I thought was Pappy Joe won’t get to meet his great grand baby
This song is so much of my life. I lost my grandma who taught me how to drive and fish and as a kid had a birddog named Bo. A part of me tries to avoid this song when I see it on channels.
My grandpa passed away in 2013 from a heart attack on vacation. He had 2 before in the past and survived but this one was different and horrible. I miss him everyday he would be 75
This is hard for me to watch right now. My dad passed away March 15, 2024, 12 days before his 95th b/d. He had dementia and at the end, he didn't know me. But, I knew him. Even with all his faults, he was a great man. I miss him.

Hi birdman !I hope everything is going well for you. This song hits me right in the feels, I lost my mom on January 8 2024, we were on the way to go see her when we got the call so we never actually got to say goodbye, she will be forever missed, we love you mom.

My condolences to your family, I lost my mom on Labor Day 2022 , from pancreatitis she was 63 years old , her death was unexpected, she died an hour and half after I left the hospital, even though you mom isn't here , I hope you have some good memories of her.

@@kevinsharpjr thank you for the kind words Kevin, I do have fond memories of her. She would have been 69 this year. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but her going to have been 69 this year has some significance to me because that was my jersey number while I was in school, I do believe in signs so maybe this is her way of telling me that she's alright, we love you mom and you are missed.
