Thanks for sharing that wonderful story that is what's wrong with this country now people used to have God in everything. Even though this is one nation under God many people have forgotten that and then they complain and say there's no evidence of God due to all the evils in the world not realizing they are causing the evils by turning against him. He said his only son to die a horrible death for us and we still turn against him I never thought I would live to see the day where God was taken out of everything but now I just the government is being ran by devils. And I think you're absolutely right back bones of the country like that man he's definitely up in heaven.

When I lost my grandfather in January 2020. My wife, my mother, grandmother and nurses were saying I was crying so hard I was hyperventilating. I truly miss him every day. There’s another song out there called I wish grandpa’s never died. I never felt pain so bad until that day. Anytime I think about it I just wanna cry because as strong as man as I am mentally & physically. My Grandfather was honestly my best friend. The last time my wife and I went down to Trinity where he lived to my grandma’s trailer. My wife woke me up in the middle of the night because she could hear me crying. It’s been almost a year and I lose it every time I think about him.

I still remember when my dad played this in his truck after grandpa died I hope grandpa and dad are up there watching over me and mommy 😭😭

My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

My grandfather passed away today. I grew up living at his house in the summer when I was little- he taught me so much and I still look up to him now. I didn’t get my chance to say goodbye. I wish heaven wasn’t so far away just so I could hug him and tell him I love him & I’ll see him again soon enough. I wish I could thank him for teaching me all the little things that someday turned into the big things. I’m turning 24 in 2 months and feel like there’s so much left I had to ask him. So much left to talk about. If heaven wasn’t so far away, I’d be right next to you.

This song really hits home I tragically lost my mother in 2017 and lost my father in law to cancer almost 2 years after. It breaks my heart I have the best in laws and I wish they were here to see how the kids and grandkids are doing. Mom & pop if you see this from heaven just know I love you both so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙

My uncle passed away last night from a very long a hard battle with cancer and a rare blood disease, he was 54 years old, a husband, father, brother, grandfather of 4 or 5 grandchildren, and my uncle. He taught me how to fish and hunt since my dad was not very outdoorsy, (gearhead). I will cherish the 44 years i was able to have being his nephew and the culprit of his headaches when I was teaching my cousin how to play electric guitar. Godspeed Todd, I hope the turkey, deer,and the fishing is amazing in heaven.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My Dad passed away 4 years ago after a 14 year battle with cancer. He is terribly missed. Not a day goes by that my Mom and I, not to mention everybody else who knew and love him, don't miss him like crazy.. Losing a parent hurts. But we'll see our loved ones again in Heaven someday. I wish my grandpa was still alive. He died from lung cancer at the age of 54 when I was 12. It hurts me to know he'll never know the man i've become. He was very old school and was rough on me. I didn't understand it was out of love and he wanted me to straighten up and act right. We did have some real good times tho and i got some sweet memories. i hope theres some sort of heaven after we die so i can shake his hand. @@urmasslow I feel like it’s a bit hard to judge the parents on that. Especially not given the context. Having seen the results firsthand of what the loss of a twin can do to the other at birth. My sister was a twin and always said she thought something was missing before she ever learned the truth. She didn’t learn from mom on that either someone with no business in it said something

My mother in law is in hospice and is very limited on time. My husband and siblings have been taking turns staying at her house 24 - 7 to keep her comfortable. I wish she hear Justin sing this live . It is a very touching song and she would be comforted knowing we will see her again

Lost my dad October 22nd 2020 from air in his lungs and stroke we had to decide his fate to let him be free or for him to turn into a Vegtipale... We wanted him to finally be able to run free.. I was home with my brothers gf... When I got the call... Around 9pm....i was crying so much I fell asleep around 10 my family got home at 1am...it was hard to see my granny and brother that way... My brother shut himself away my granny was screaming and sobbing and me.. I went down stairs into my daddy's room closed the door and started sobbing and then my uncle came in and hugged me tightly and then the day of the funeral I lost it.. I kissed my dad's for head he didn't look the same.. So cold so different...i lost it and started to cry... And I told my mom that I wanted to go home I couldn't take it so my mom agreed and took me and my uncle home. When we got there I told my uncle that his brother was talking to a room stone and that I thought he was drunk again so me and my uncle went to my other uncles room and found a dozen empty bottles of vodka...i was so mad at that moment...my uncle stayed in his room and I watched TV but I couldn't stop thinking about the last moments I had with my dad... I had to say goodbye over the phone.... And he couldn't respond... I wanna hear his voice Just one more time I wanna give him a big hug and kiss and I wanna give him all my love.... But I'll see him very soon :)

This song just brings tears to my eyes because of losing both my grandpa and my stepdad. It makes me wish I could see them and I could give my dad(stepdad) a big hug. They were both father figures to me and I can't help but cry and think of them. May you both rest in peace.

Im sooo sorry. She was sooo young. I almost died in December of 2020. Just got my two young kids to sleep while I suffered a heart attack. Kept telling myself they were going to their mom that night and they weren't gonna have anyone to wake up to the next morning because my ex was out of town working.

I'd give anything to see my dad hold my first born child. I was the only son of the family. Just wish he could have made it another 9 years...

I miss my granddaddy so much! I will forever miss you and will ALWAYS CHERISH THOSE MEMORIES FOREVER ♥️

This song hits me VERY hard. my grandparents raised me until they died in the middle 80s at the Flint river bridge. My grandfather died July 11 1987. Next Monday my wife and I are buying back his home on the Flint river which will be exactly 33 years to the day of his funeral. I will die there as he did.

My dad passed in 2008 when I was 12. There's not a single day that goes by that I don't miss him. I listen to country because it was music we both liked, and it's something we bonded over. I get a lot of shit for it from my friends at school but I don't give a shit, I'm not gonna stop loving country music. :)

Not a day goes by where I don't think about my late dad who lived to the young age of 76. Glad he took me fishing, my son as well and that he got to attend my retirement ceremony onboard the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER in 2007. Thank God he was that ever present father who held my family down. Dad's are a kids bet protector and GOD BLESS EVERYONE ON THIS COMMENT STRING!!!

There's not alot of songs that will make tear up, but this one did, made me think how much I miss my dad and grandpa. Beautiful, amazing lyrics!!!!!

I lost my grandparents in 2002 and 2004. I just lost my mom the 29th of December. Losing them wouldn't be so hard to take if heaven wasn't so far away =(

Crazy how ya humans can have such compassion for someone we never met. And at the same time he’s looking down on you. Someone he’s never met. You’ll meet him sooner then you think kid. One day you’ll be sitting in your chair, watching your kids raise there kids. Life goes fasts and won’t stop for anything. Enjoy everything you can!

My birthdays tomorrow and all I want is my Nana to be here but she overdosed a year ago today and this is the hardest thing to me!

This is how I feel. I lost my baby brother a few weeks after his 14th birthday on Feb 15, 2023. He was in so much pain his last few weeks so I don't wish for him to come back to this mortal plane and go through pain like that again. But I do, I so do wish I could go to him where he is finally pain free, happy and running around freely in divine protection. This song reminds me of all the times I would sit with my Great Grandma, and watch her embroider. I would love to see her again, and hug her. And sadly we lost three kids from my school to a house fire this year. I wish I could see those three, and hug them. Let them know their friends and family are alright. Especially the oldest. He was friends with a good friend of mine. I never got a chance to know him, but from the little I did know. He was an amazing kid. Just with they were all still here. But the Lord said it was time for them to go home.

This song hits harder now I lost a good friend a few weeks ago. I listened to this in 6th grade I was 11 and cried, but it hurts so much more now

I cannot listen to this without crying.. I would love to see my great grandpa, sit with him and have vanilla wafers... Introduce him to his great great granddaughter. I'd find my grandma Betty, introduce myself to her and sit and talk about her family and how much I wish I could have met her... I have lost so many family members and friends... I truly do wish heaven wasn't so far away...
