This is literally what they talked about doing on the podcast, getting (comparatively) smaller VA jobs so that they can get experience in the field and previous work to show off. The lack of Trolls 2 updates, at this point, should be taken as evidence that it's going well rather than poorly. Justin is actually a surprisingly great voice actor

Taako impersonating Beacon

I'm pretty good at recognizing voice actors, AND just blasted through the Balance arc in TAZ in like, 3 week, so I'm disappointed in myself for not hearing BASICALLY Taako with more of a Tim Curry flair lol

I like to imagine the only thing they told justin about his character was "evil" so he just ended up doing his tim curry impression

Taako, Jenkins, and just a dash of Beacon makes this character.
