I can remember the first time I heard this song. I was driving home late one night, after spending the day with my wife, of nearly 17 years, who was in palliative care with pancreatic cancer. I've never in my life had a song bring so much emotion to me, and hit me so deeply as this song does. She passed in November 2021 from this horrible disease, and to this day, I still cry when I hear this song. My advice to all, is to love everyone with all your heart today, as there is no guarantee of tomorrow. There is nothing I wouldn't give, to spend one more day with her. Love you Anna!

One depressing day, I was driving home, lonely af, and there was pouring rain and a clap of thunder. I turn on the radio and this song comes on. Then I thought of my dad who passed away and the tears that started to fall were heavier than the pouring rain outside. I come back to this and I try so hard to think of all the happy memories I had with my dad. He was amazing and will forever be missed and in my heart. Justin Bieber is such an amazing artist. His songs are truly beautiful and I'm a fan. Best of all he's Canadian, like me. Tbh, I love his newer stuff better than when he was younger so he has grown and matured a lot from a boy into a fine gentleman. I'm not trying to be an attention seeker or tell a sob story for people to sympathize with me. I really don't care. Everyone has their own struggles and have their own fights with their inner demons and sometimes it's okay to ask for help.

The fact that we are literally watching him grow up as his music becomes more and more mature in terms of themes and experiences...say what you want but this guy has managed to stay relevant all these years by dropping good songs no matter what. Always on the radio, sometimes I vibe not even knowing its by him. Most people I know that used to hate him for no reason appreciate that he's a good artist nowadays.

Where some artists use their music selfishly as an outlet for their own personal gain only, Justin understands the value as a form of art and therapy for his fans also. With so many of us losing loved ones over the past couple of years, this video is moving. So much respect for him as a musician recently 👏

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💝 😊

Ive never been a justin fan. But this song is beautiful and helps me with the loss of my dad and many others i have lost this past year. One thing im learning as im growing older is cherish every little moment know matter the cost

I lost my grandfather this last December 21st and then my grandmother on Christmas, both in just 4 days at the end of 2021. And my father died when I was a teenager. These lost are so tragic for me, I'm still grieving for their lost. But this song gives me peace, I feel highly identified with it, and the lyrics are very beautiful. Literally Justin Bieber has accompanied me in the cheerful moments when I was just 13 years old, and he was at the beginning of his career, until now as a young adult with different challenges and dreams. I love this connection along lifetime.

I knew she was fighting depression so I would check up on her regularly. I never would have expected that she would go through with it. She was such a wonderful person who became a beacon of light for me personally. She was the first friend I made after my break up and she helped me lift myself up when times were the darkest. I'm not normally a J.B. fan but this video has me in tears. I lost my papa almost 7 years ago and my family never properly grieved him. With my life being so busy revolving around work and holidays and my relationship, I often times forget that he's no longer here but when these pop up and I watch them it hits me like a ton of bricks. It was very cathartic.

@@eliak956 Because for me , who is also an ENGENE , i have never heard of GHOST before , but after JAKE who is one the member of enhypen , tell us on his vlive stream on his birthday that his current favourite song is GHOST and he decided to open up to us while having their enconnect ( their concert ) which is a few days after his birthday that his grandma passed away on his birthday . He even bursts into tears right on the stage which really broke my heart to see him like that .. so we conclude that that is the reason why JAKE love GHOST 😭😭😭so for me , it really does hit different , some more he is my favourite artist😭😭 so if this song is played , its always JAKE popped up in my mind😭😭😭

Its just a video- but its nice to see how close a mother and her son can be and how comfortable they can be.

This songs hits so differently. "If I can't get close to you, I'll settle for the ghost you", there are people in our life that we really want to stay, but life doesn't work that way. Someone came to my life unexpectedly and she made me feel alive again. She was the reason I started to live again, but sad to say our life was planned differently. Maybe faith will bring us back together again someday, but for now let me settle for the memory of you. :)

Anytime I listen to this masterpiece always bring tears to my face 😢 It makes me remember my dad I lost 7 years ago 💔

This song hits home hard. My mom was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer when I was 16 yrs old. She did every trial for cancer she qualified for and even 10 yrs later she had decided to continue getting chemo until she was not allowed to take it anymore and had no choice to quit because the cancer took over her body. She unselfishly continued taking a cancer drug orally at home to see if she could buy herself time so she wouldn’t leave me and my twin brother behind at a young age. She took her last breath and was gone on October 23, 2005 when I had just turned 26. That was 19 years ago! Ironically, I met my husband a year after she died and his birthday is October 23rd, too! That is crazy to me because a year prior to her passing I was in the middle of a divorce and I pulled over in my car while driving to take her call and I remember crying and telling my mom how no one would want me and if they did, it would be an ugly old man. 😆Another crazy fact is, my husband and I are 15 yrs apart so she was right about the old man part, but can’t say he is ugly at all. Thank you for looking after me, mom. I love you!😢❤ If ya’ll got this far I apologize for rambling. This song just brought up some memories.

Kim Jane. I lost my older sister a few years back, and yes Justin Bieber was her world . She knew everything about him and loved his music , it’s hard to lose your best friend but at least you have memories to last.

First time hearing the whole entire song and it was beautiful 😢

I lost my Mom so young that it feels unfair. Now I'm a few years older & my Dad has terminal cancer & his days are counted. I love this song. The pain one feels when losing anyone is rough, but a parent or lover sometimes it feels all most impossible to move on. This is a beautiful way to keep memories alive. I hope one day I can thank Justin in person face to face for this song. It's just so beautiful.
