I don't like either of them. They're so bland. I'm not saying that they should be Marvel colorful, but at least don't make his color palette consist of one color only. Give him different shades and add some red or something to make him interesting to look at.

Now the ending scene makes sense with batman ship there instead of them just standing there looking at the destruction they just made🤣

[Peter Armstrong] I think the color grading looks pretty and sometimes more fitting in SPECIFIC shots of the Whedon cut. But the color grading in most of the shots in the Snyder cut do look more focused, grounded, and overall much better. This movie will look cinematic and pretty since it’s a superhero film, but it’s still dark and gritty.

Im hyped for this but I have to be honest the scene where he saves iris that we saw in the trailer had something off about the vfx, that car explosion seemed out of place, I'd prefer it without the explosion, just looks fake to me.

The very first shot looks better in the theatrical 🤕

I think if Joss Whedon had more time to do the theatrical version of the movie would be a little better, but overall the Zack Snyder vertion is the best that we could ever had, so I am waiting to see a good film next year.

You’re mistaking color with color grading, which fits the tone of the movie. Zack isn’t a marvel director. If you want “color” you can stick with the mcu.

@@Rony-L Joker has color; It, Fury road, The Dark Knight have color. The Irishman is desaturated as well, but has more color. None of those movies are similar, in tone, to a MCU movie. It is Snyder's style and you can appreciate it, but it doesn't mean that in order to be 'serious looking' it has to lack color, or that the only alternative to that are Marvel movies.

Destroyer of worlds you’re clearly a fan boy. Shazam is good, Wonder Woman is good, aqua man is fun. Zack Snyder’s Dc movies are not good and he does not understand the characters. Man of Steel had some cool action though Marvel movies aren’t master pieces of cinema, but objectively they are entertaining movies with rich characters and sub-par plots. Sounds like you’re being subjective. You like DC more so you like DC movies more. That’s not how it works though. Spider-Man is my favorite hero, though out of all superheroes idk if I could say he has the best movie. Objectively as a movie that probably goes to the dark knight or Logan

I don't think I'm in for black suit Superman for the third act. Superman needs some representation with the Justice League while wearing his iconic suit. Also if the Flashback with Darkseid and the third act is devoid of any color, then the movie risks being absolutely dark and bleak. In that regard, Josstice's choice for a red sky wasn't that bad.

Red sky and the weird vegetation had a great continuity problem, given that Apokalips isn't like that at all (in the BvS Knightmare sequence) and in the flashback from JLA. It didn't felt right. It was dope tho

He has it in the comics and it's his Healing/rebirth suit so it makes much more sense than to have his red suit on again. The red sky was terrible by the way it looked so bad.

@@zenithquasar9623 Ah yes! the clip first shown in this video is edited to mute the colors, because in the very next clip (Same Scene btw) with Uxas (Darkseid) you can see the colors are comparatively more brighter, they are not as vibrant as in the theatrical cut but just right to fit the tonal atmosphere of Snyder's vision. Don't know why this guy muted the colors but you can compare it to the original teaser.

I think it’s pretty funny that people are getting so worked up over a film cut that’s gonna be maybe a little better than the terrible film we already got. Thanks for polishing a turd, I guess.

You mean, without a director swap, right? The theatrical cut is the one, where they changed the director halfway through. Also, most of the scenes we just watched, weren't in the theatrical cut at all.
