I read some article awhile ago that Thomas in his early life was emotionally and obviously scarred psychology by some members of the black community due to his dark complexion. The article also mentioned that he was reminded that his success was due to programs like affirmative action which made him feel unworthy of his success. Once he got in a position of power his response to his earlier life trauma was to eliminate laws and policies that benefited black people while he participates as a token member of the " good old boys club".

When I went to college years ago, I took a class and affirmative action was the subject. Most people of white ethnicity blamed affirmative action for many things. These views so blew my mind. At the time, I was going to college and starting a business. I am a Hispanic woman and could not secure financing for my business. There was a young white girl accusing minorities of coming to this country and getting financial support for minorities to start businesses. That's when I could not keep quiet. The last thing I remember telling the class was “ that to get rid of affirmative action, the Federal and state laws needed to outlaw racism, and that would be the day blacks and minorities would not need the protections that affirmative action offered minorities and that I would probably be dead many decades before that happened. And this was like 20 years ago. I am not surprised, as the Republicans have been working towards this outcome for many, many years.

This government branch ought to be expanded to reflect the ever-evolving composition of America. I deeply believe both Barak Obama and Katie Pheng would be great additions to the court. That is, if they are interested!! Clarence Thomas ought to be impeached for his apparent biases fueled by his own "self-loathing", corruption, and blatant impartiality! How about this. Black folks can't afford to be in politics. What brutha in his right mind would want to be the president of a sinking ship. They had to import a unknown black man raised in Indonesia to be the first black president. Notice how the Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians, Nigerians come over here and just make money open businesses, educate their kids and stay out of politics. The get their money right and maybe venture into politics when they can afford to. Neither party is going to ever take black american seriously when you don't have money to donate. If all you have is a vote its not enough. Trump said he paid money to both sides to make sure he got what he wanted. Honest but we think voting is the answer. Roland knows its not but he is a operative for the democratic party. Malcolm X warned us long ago about the white liberals lol.

Yes, Clearance Thomas is absolutely "void" of rationality. He can give two cents for equality despite his skin color and the historical oppression of those who look like him in skin color. The bottom line it shouldn't be about skin color but fairness to a group who have been blatantly mistreated as black Americans. Affirmative Action is/was supposed to be a form of compensation for all the wrong done to blacks since there is no monetary compensations. This is obvious to those with commonsense who are not filled with pure hate and animosity.

They did not hold Mrs. Ketanji Brown Jackson she chose her career. She has the documents to show for it, Good morals, her character speaks through her words. Words or power.

Some Americans are disgusted by white privilege mentality and convenient religious beliefs, conspiracy theories and bigotry! At 66 and white, I love cracking ignorant, backwards, judgemental, minipulative, hillbilly bully's like many Republican politicians! It is truly sad, at my age , I still have to stand up for my personal women's rights, and compassionately feel compelled to stand up for the rights of my Brown, Black, Asian brothers and sisters! 💯☮️
