Gonna be honest chief. I don't think I mind bosses being easy when you bring like 8 damage boosters, highest level gear, and 4 people all coordinating attacks.

Telos is really easy too. When I got the t90 power armor upgrade task and learned I had to kill Vorago or Telos with necromancy, I wasn't looking forward to it. I've never killed either boss before and they're both high-level (if not end game) bosses and I'm only upper mid-level at best. I assumed I would just have to find a Vorago group that would let me tag along. But a clanmate said he just got a Telos kill with necromancy, only died once because of a mis-click in phase 4, and didn't even watch a guide. I tried my luck there and yeah, it's really easy. Got a 0% enrage kill my first try. The uppercut attack doesn't hit that hard (the passive healing from the ghost will cover it) so you can just tank it if you don't have the timing down, the tendrils dps check is a joke (I thought I was doing something wrong at first because it was over so quickly), and the Theads + Finger combo makes short work of the cluster of minions harassing you in phase 4 while you're trying to vibe on the orb. And then I got stone spirits as a drop.

You should host a bossing rotation mass where everyone goes with necromancy to each boss to help get people the reaper crew achievement

Here's also a trick I discovered while it comes to Slayer tasks, using Tuska's Wrath and even Death's Grasp from Death Guard 70/higher, while under effects Thread of Fate, it's a whole new nightmare for any group enemies. kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5Z-mpiCfrKrZ6w.html

Quick mention for those attempting; If you attempt these kills and you have any failed attempts, if Ahrim is on your side you will need a ranged weapon swap to kill him for when he is in the air, as you won't be able to deal necro damage to him (So bring like a nox bow, sgb, bolg, whatever you have, black stone arrows wouldn't be a bad idea as hit chance isn't great here)

Solo rots has also become significantly easier imo. You can do something similar and use threads of fate --> Weapon spec (or with t95 volley of souls at 5 souls) once the brothers jump to the other side. Just stack em up and make sure their health is 40-50% down before u blast them

I mean this is faster but doesn't seem conceptually much more complicated than the strat I used where we all went in with insane burst due to using ranged EOFs with t90s and dark bow specs to unload on all the brothers at once. I think we had one kill where we had to register the boss had mechanics.

Monster hunter speed running has a term for this sort of thing. Hame. Preparation is the root of fast kill times. Going in with a plan and a skilled group with the right setups will crush just about anything quickly. Lore-wise it's pretty good. Necromancy can be used to undo necromancy, so wiping out RoTS that way is at least sensible there.

Sounds like the answer is just remove the dummy from being allowed to be targeted by threads of fate. Or just remove dummies in general because they always feel like such an intended cheesy exploit wherever they are used.

The PvP side of things does need fixing up. It's pretty absurd. The same problem persists in combat minigames like Castle Wars. All it takes is one special, and you can get blasted from full health to none in an instant. Which is just beyond broken. It is not helped by how necromancy runes for some reason cannot currently be brought into castle wars for greater bone shield due to counting as "non-combat items" for some bizarre reason. All in all, this shenanigans does need fixing. It seems to me like Jagex did not make a custom pvp formula for the special attack as is the usual case, and instead use the pve one. Considering also equipment used does not come with necromancy defensive stats (meaning you might as well not be wearing anything), it gets even more wonky tonky.

Before attacking a player.. use Living death.. attack then 1 auto attack.. gives 2 stacks + touch 4 = 6 stacks instantly.. adren pot auto 8 stack death.

That's the wrong way of doing it, touch of death + living death + touch of death + auto = 10 stacks, with a simple buff that could easily reach the 30k crit limit if you got lucky with a crit, otherwise that's still a one way road trip to lumbridge for anyone getting specced

i just did fight caves with 99 necro, but T70 weapon and T60 everything else. I only used excalibur and ancient ritual shard for sustain, no food or pots at all

​@@jbdragonlance rots solo is much harder as when you down one brother it starts a timer and will revive itself. Need good aoe damage so once one brother goes down, you are able to kill the rest. Also complicated by the fact each brother has special attacks which make it difficult to stay still. Nex is pretty easy as the only real problem is blood phase dps check + ice phase prisons.

U can solo rots with necro yeah, but you do it completely differently. It's still "hard" and requires mechanic knowledge

Uk what sucks? Soul sap, soul strike and volley of souls are listed as f2p. But f2p cant use it because of the lvl 20 cap. Also cant use the t20 weapons. Jagex doesnt give a f about f2p.

Glad Wilderness PvP is finally dead again, now if we could just remove it entirely so lurers can pout… That being said, a Clan Wars event does actually sound fun.

It would still work (2-3s kill) by targeting the middle brother manually, but it wouldn't be a 0.6s kill. Wouldn't matter that much

I get everyone loves this, but think about it - the entire game is now easy mode. This ISN'T GOOD. There's no longer any challenge and no reason to do anything other than Necromancy. Players are going to be funnelled into doing one specific thing and soon get bored because it's easy and lacking in reward. What's the point in literally every other drop now from bosses unless it helps Necromancy?

The whole runescape reddit crowd wouldn't see a problem with infinite deathtouched darts and would probably say the only against it are trillionaires who alch partyhats for fun and invent schemes to ruin the experience of casual players. I'm sick of the elite vs casual player strawman. I'm just out here meleeing ed2 and I'm not really thrilled that I'm making half the gp I used to while supplies have gone way up. Necromancy release makes it feel like most of the game is dead content for the foreseeable future.

i love that rs3 is experience the same thing that WOW, is experiencing the button bloat in other styles, "Bro hitting 16 buttons is fun"

No death skulls is fixed so it's not double dipping damage buffs which IMHO was a huge reason why Necromancy seemed so OP

@@phoenix2529 I never advocated for a nerf. The point is PvP is dead because of that. Dicelords who either bought bonds or lived on the game full time ran around in full Cryptbloom with a Staff of armadyl and would basically 2-shot anyone in gear that wasn't matched, or sometimes even if it was. In short, you didn't need skill anymore to PvP, you just needed a lot of money. This was before Jagex's wildy update, and PvP had been ignored for years already.... It would be stupid for Jagex to nerf the attack for PvP, when they already essentially removed it from the game.

i hate PVMers that say X is 'Easy' or 'Beginner' then go on to declare that 'all you need is' followed by half an inventory of supercharging crap and bis gear for anything other then their freaking flex item like oh yeah you can totally kil zammorak with a bronze dagger its so easy let me just use my massive pile of gold to go by gear to stack the deck in EVERY OTHER FUCKING WAY and show of my sweatfest bossing skills that people with lives have no hope of matching

@@TheRealNiko then your not paying attention to the fact that the items your getting for this 'easy' boss/challenge/whatever dont just nagic themselves into your possession? Each item either needs to be gathered (often requiring its own bossfight due to the common level of the equipment in question, crafted which is at best lengthy grinds for the materials if not again boss locked and or RNG dependant, or what most PvMers seem to really want the scrubs they are making this 'simple guide' for to do Buy it which requires gold lots of it which again is its own series of grinds, trials, and or luck Gear thus totally contrubutes to the Difficulty of the encounter in my opinion

I love how it 'devalued' every other combat style's higher tier gear, make it more accessible to players without billions of gp for a 1.5% dmg bonus per increment, and gives variety of choice. Only the rich dread other players having what they have

Well technically its not clickbait. my old nex times with range was about 5 mins. with necromancy I'm able to get a kill in just under 3 mins. it doesn't matter how much you play, just what you do with that time when you play.

Lmao just blow in from stupid town huh? He's literally just demonstrating how dope necro is, not whining about it. Showing us what we can do with necro at bosses we may not have thought we could do before is good content, even if it's not a traditional method of doing the boss.

Thesis: Necromancy is so strong some elements of the game has become questionably easy. Jagex implemented this combat style to appease their fan base and to make certain aspects of the game easier. I appreciate the video informing us but I feel the thesis needs to be rewritten so as not to totally void this method you’re trying to introduce. This is what necromancy was meant for; to make content like this accessible for players.
