Air-drying your hair won't make it fall out. If you let your wet hair lie down on your scalp and don't disturb it, you can potentially create an unbalanced environment for your scalp and this can impact the health of your hair follicles. As long as you don't wash your hair too often, let your wet hair suffocate your scalp and wear a cap all day every day, you're not gonna kill your hair and go bald.
