I was expecting this to be stupid money, but it ms not absurdly priced. I’m wondering now if Rock-wool insulation with Thymol thrown in a regular burner would work as a hack.

Im and ANEL Dealer in USA and we carry this smoker and the ANEL Hives. Cant keep them on the shelves.

Great vid, thanks Laurence Have you had more chances to use it? With the wife having asthma, itd be great to find her an alternative. Seems a toss up between this one and the Apisolis. Would any projecting essential oil vaporizer do?

I actually purchased the Apisolis because of your video. I've had a situation when I was a kid that made me terrified of open flames and when going into beekeeping and seeing the smoker hit my phobia terribly. Until I saw your video on the Apisolis. I love the Apisolis and my bees seem to act no different from regular smoke. Additionally, I can use it on flame restriction days here in Australia since there are no flames involved which is a huge plus. Love your vids and I can't wait to see more of your vids.

They should do versions which let you use diy tool battery packs eg makita, ryobi oneplus, dewalt etc 104 Euros before tax and import from Anel beekeeping (Greece)

Did he do a fellow upp video on the Apisolis? Many do a comparison?

is burning anything you want in a smoker safe?. One thing I dont agree with is this apparent secret of what the vape is made from.. so just take the risk and die? lol.. Based on e-cigs its a mix of VG and PG and flavouring/scent, but if this is oil based then 100% i wouldnt use. I guess they hate to tell us as it would be very easy to replicate, isnt hard to mix this up. This smoker IMO is very poor deisgn with that battery and cables, looks like prototype. edit: ok i just found the ingredients list, it conatins OILS, do not use, you see the effects of oils on people who vaped it??

You will be vaping next lol😅

Yes, I was hoping for an update on that one, it was also based on vape, think it was a Thorne one

35 years 3 generation master bee keeper and imo if you can’t keep a conventional smoker going all day then you need to stop and go back to basics! Imo you should never use a smoker in bee keeping period!!I learn over 30 years ago how smoke does not calm bees how smoke makes bees gorge honey and you set bees back for at least a day after smoke! Think like a bee and not a human.just my opinion and years of experience.

smoke does calm bees, I have proof.. open one of my colonies with black mountain queen in without smoke and your be dead in 30 seconds..with smoke you last around 4 mins.
