JUST SPENT A FORTUNE! - MASSIVE Hilti Nuron Power Tool Haul.
As far as company milestone goes, this one is certainly up there.
If you're an avid viewer of our KZread channel, you'll know I have a soft spot for @HiltiGreatBritain power tools. Not just because in my opinion, they are the best out there, but it's a fond reminder of my late father, who also loved this power tool company and shared the same great passion as me for high-quality electrical work.
Although Hilti is now helping to support our channel, as a company, we are paying for these tools via the Hilti Fleet Management scheme. At Artisan Electrics, we want to be the best and show off the best, so over the coming months, we'll be putting all these new Hilti Nuron tools to the test and giving honest feedback, along with showing off why these tools are so great and how the Fleet Management scheme makes them affordable to almost anyone.
I do have to say Artisan does look good in red, though!

Would you consider Hilti fleet?
@kittsdiy

If you have many vans ..and guys working for you i can understand it . Less cashflow needed . The tools are not an investment . But a recurring "cost" in the accounting . So the 1000 pound /month is 100% detuctable form the profit . ( at least here in Belgium )

Nice tools. When I got my SDS hammer drill my life changed. It's an amazing piece of kit, even though it's an entry level Makita with a power cord, it's my favourite tool to use, followed by my Milwaukee M12 hammer drill.

My grandfather bought a Hilti Te 17 in 1970 and we are using this Tool till today, we are re oiling it once in a while but it is still powerful and strong. Many other tools broke but this monster is working and working it ist over 50 years old and still drilling great. When I need new tools, Hilti is the way when you are using them often.
For an organisation who’s seen phenomenal growth, this is a no brainer!
I'd love a hilti . Great channel Jordan & everyone at Artisan electrics .
I have been a massive Hilti fan for many years, you have made the right choice ...... super great kit
That is the bolocks! When I was on the tools years ago I loved the fact the reps would come to site. Real shame the shop up Clifton Rd shut down! Was ideal for getting bits in person. One thing you need is the Hilti laser measure. It’s a game changer, especially if over a long span.
Honestly love my Hilti 110 core drill, if it wasn't for the fact all our other tools are Dewalt I'd consider signing up with them, it's cheaper than I expected (£200 a month per van for the core kit). The core set is like £1200 and with the replace and repair service it's worth it if you're using them that much to pay the extra. Looking forward to seeing how they fair with your guys.
Can't beat Hilti. There really isn't anything on the market that can compete with the quality of Hilti.
Sounds an amazing deal well done
When I retired from the trade 20 years ago Hilti had good deals if you bought one of the big SDS hammer drills they would match the equivalent cost of the drill with an equal amount of carbide drill bits for free. I tried all the other makers tools and only Milwaulkie came close to the ruggedness of Hilti❤
As an old hand, now retired, I have to tell you that, Hilti was the company who invented hammer drills. The normal ones, way back when, just used to spin with a mason drill and hammer like mad. Hilti took it to the next stage, which was to have the correct revs and correct drill bit (sds) Bingo best hammer drill, the rest are just try to be copies.
❤ This video.. congrats, more business to come..what a good choice..
good on you mate! hopefully you will keep us updated on these powertools, if and when they die ( like the TE4 did, when Cory tried to drill into a brick wall... ), because I'm not sure how these Xinzhuang made tools are keeping up with use, but will be interesting to see. Also it's fairly fascinating that Hilti went with the Snap-On route, where you can lease your tools and it will be replaced fairly promplty if something happens, but you also basically lose ownership of your tools. Or you can just buy them at exorbitant prices, but that doesn't sound like a great financial idea.
I'm sticking with Erbauer. After all, they work and nobody's going nick them.😁
I'm a volunteer fire fighter in wales and we use a bigger version those cutters to cut people out of cars and other vehicles
There some gorgeous tools 👌 im a tool tart I'd have to keep them all in them red cases that's the best bit lol , that's a brilliant idea with the tracking incase anything goes missing oh and no more skiving off now lads we know ur location 😉
I have always said "pay for what you get, buy cheap you buy again, pay more get the best"
Hi Jordan, you have a great channel with very good content, please don’t fall into the click bait mindset. More and more of your videos have click bait titles, which means, no actual information related to the content, instead it’s a punchy title meant to attract our attention. I’m sincerely put off by this technique and I find myself watching less and less of this kind of videos. For instance, a suggestion for this title: “Complete HILTI power tools, I can’t believe this happen” This kind of title it is still a bit punchy and it also emphasises the content first of all. Thank you for your understanding. Kindest regards, Florin (an automotive engineer)

Definitely nice kit. About ten times what I forked out. And most likely unknown to DIY fraternity ... and would suggest the DIY tool market is too price sensitive for "obscure" pro tools anyway. Now, ref the same battery platform, then yes, useful to have for convenience and less faffing about. That said how many seconds does having a one pattern battery save? Ref the quick change tool arrangements ... one of these YT "experts" had mentioned the "horseshoe" shaped ends, with the clamp mechanism, shaved seconds off the replacement time. If someone needs to change a tool that quick, where seconds matter, then the bloke is perhaps not what you might call a craftsman??? I type subjectively, obviously.

I thought you pay close to 3k a month so yeah it pretty affordable, it is not for every business but if you get a lot of use from these tools, leasing is well worth it. Imo batteries are also major consideration, they are not cheap and they have limited charge cycles, so getting the batteries in lease is a big plus.
I've only ever owned 1 Hilti product (laser measure) and its bullet proof, can't fault them for a quality product.
not an advert at all 😂
Get them marked up with SelectaDNA Jordan.
So hilti are your tool partner but you are paying like a regular customer did i miss something? What do hilti give you in this partnership. But very nice gear !!
Fair play, better to have all those tools than give the money to HMRC! Slight flaw in the Hilti system with the Bluetooth tags. That should be internal so all tools are permanently identifiable.
About 45 years ago I worked with Hilti tools for the first time. Before that we used Duss drills but those were just too heavy. You could work 30 minutes with them but the Hilti tools could be handled several hours per day. Huge improvement.

Since I already have batteries and chargers I actually find them to be the cheapest to own new besides Ryobi(sooo many free batteries). Only the industrial type stuff like the rebar tool or the fastener solutions are all that expensive but like... who buys those for personal use? The rainbow brands are only cheap if you can wait multiple years for the one _specific_ tool you want to go on sale. And some stuff has never been sold outside of kits in the history of their releases. Don't have room for hoarded kit extras and selling unwanted pieces is a hassle
I think that pricing is incredibly good. Essentially £120 a month per employee for a full set of 80% insured tools and next-day warranty service. You'd be looking at spending a lot more than that (like £1,800-£2,500) to get a kit out of similar tools (of lower quality) to own permanently. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the tools as they're used.

I'd rather own tools for £2500 compared to renting them for less than 2 years for the same price. A good kit like Hilti should hold for 5+ years, when you think about what the renting would cost(120*60= £7200). You could buy a new set of tools every 2-3 years and it would still be cheaper.
@droknron

@@Earthquaker501 While true if you look at Hilti's website a lot of their drills of this spec (the same that Artisan are getting) cost £1200.. each. The other tools £400-£800. Their £120 a month kit would probably cost them more than £5,000 if bought brand new. Of course, there are more affordable alternatives to Hilti but I think this deal is quite reasonable for the quality of the tools and Artisan will get new ones when they hand in the old ones I assume.

A bit comparable with leasing a car ( in some formules it's never yours end of lease = give it back or maybe buy it a current value ) ..advantage is like he said .. if anything breaks they fix or replace it .. but don't think i you van has broken in 3 times a month ..keep replacing them ..

@@SquirreliciousMe Well, I talk to and get to know the people who do work for me. And I tend to keep using the same people time and again. I prefer to get to the point where I don't have to quote for a job - they just come and do the work when they can and then charge me an appropriate amount. That way when things get ripped apart and we find something unexpected I can easily add some work to the project to get things done properly and the way I want. If the people who do the work are just employees, then it can be easy to spot at times. They can show up without the optimum selection of tools and supplies to do the work as they make do with what they have been given to use. If the worker is empowered and/or self-employed then they seem better equipped to handle the unexpected. I've made a living in IT for 25 years and it is a surprisingly similar story. I've almost always relied on my own computers to do my daily work because companies don't provide optimum equipment (even though they pay more for it). Only I really know what the proper kit is that will allow me to do my best work. And what is good for me isn't necessarily what is good for someone else.
If David Savery took this scheme out I’d think it was worth doing. He has the Ryobi scheme.
00:22 Where's the WC going to be mounted ? Is that where th e excess energy gets "dumped" ?
This is Hilti adopting the car dealer business model of recurring revenue stream, with PCP style sales.Make the tools RRP soooo high that it pushes people into the finance deal as they’re only concerned with the monthly’s The tool cost you more over the 3yr contract as your paying the interest on the loan, you don’t get the option to keep the tool or buy it which turns me off massively!!. For a large national company fleet hire makes Sense but for a small company it really doesn’t make sense as tools aren’t as abused or go missing…. as often and the wear on the tools is far less so the lifespan should be longer. I have all Hilti tools and have had them my entire career so far 16yrs for some kit. So for me fleet doesn’t work and the current Hilti prices!
