I have both both the SARB033 and the SARB035. Bought them 12 days ago from a gentleman in Scotland who was selling off his late brother's chattels. Both watches were boxed and unused. Put straps on both for a better look. Fantastic. A great find.

He must have been pleased to know his brother's watches were going to a loving home/wrist. Enjoy them in good health. Cheers, D

I have the 033 and 035. They're very different watches. I find the cream dial to be a little dressier and it's typically my dinner watch. But they're both pretty special. Nice video, gents.

SARB033 and SARB035 owner here. If you own either of these you know the magical element to them. A magical element that I was never able to get from any of my SARX/Presage watches (albeit being technically superior watches). A lot of it has to do with the SARBs having the absolute perfection case dimensions, symmetry, the perfect balance of dial spacing, that seconds needle hands, the way the razer white lume on the dauphine hands line up with the minute markers, the multiple layers of beveling above the lugs and throughout the case....ugh, I could go on and on....

Love the SARBS...I find the SARX worthy alternatives when availability drops. tho the original salmon still calls to me and is on my hunt list. Amazing quality to price ratio with the SARB line. Love me some Seiko. Hope your new year is off to a great start. Thank you for stopping by to say hello!! All the best, D

Took me over 4 years to get the salmon dial version. Uncle Seiko made a version of the dial to install aftermarket if you’re into that. I was able to acquire an original JDM. I also have the 033. It’s a great piece for a OWC.

Thanks for stopping by to say hello! The Salmon looks great. I periodically hunt them, hoping one will pop and I can swoop in on it. Love JDM watches. Have a great weekend!!! D

For someone who doesn't need to have a Rolex, Omega, Breitling, or other "high end" brand, the SARB033/35 is absolutely one watch worthy. Classic looks, good specs. The bracelet is weak but that is easily fixed with an Uncle Straps purchase.

Nice watch; love those Grand Seiko's to. It's like a wolf in sheep clothing. It looks cheap and expensive at the same time. And people will call you crazy for spending 5 K on a Japanese watch; which I don't mind.

hello! that's a very interesting way of putting it....and I agree. Also, I don't understand the Grand Seiko haters. They make an amazing watch. I can stare at that seconds hand going around all day long (I have a first gen Snowflake that I have yet to review on the channel). have a great weekend!! D

In the flesh this is a lovely watch. Against it is the notion it is not expensive. The idea that it is not as good as whatever higher end it is perpetually compared to.

Hi Alan! Indeed, that is the case with much of what Seiko has to offer. To consider that GS does not yet have the horological clout it ought to is amazing. Hopefully their marketing team will catch up. Have a great weekend! D
