this was the most realistic drama it felt sooo real the characters were different Ive never watched any of their dramas was my first to see them everyone played their role so perfectly omg when I started I kept watching till the end I couldn't stop thinking about it I swear. I loved each and one of them it was just amazing and it broke my heart in certain scenes,,, omg I just cant!!! they need to make dramas like this often it was sooo unique ive never watched this type of style and storyline everyoone was perfect. Beautiful!!!!

at least uols could finish this straightly while me had to wait for couple of days becoz i watched this when it was still aired on iqiyi...i even bought the vip iqiyi becoz i couldn't wait any longer...i missed the times when we the fans kept discussing about this drama while waiting it to be aired 😁

Just imagine how lively the shooting set had been with all these young guys joking around.

I absolutely LOVE this drama couple! The casting was phenomenal and for all the sadness and hard fought resolutions, I’m glad that I watched it and still got laughs out of the viewing!!

Watching this, I totally get why she thought he was just messing around with her most of the season! He comes off as a complete playboy! She never saw the loving looks he would throw her way like the audience got too.

i can't move on from this drama, what a masterpiece. everone performed amzingly, Xu Kai childish but caring, bai lu a strong emotional character, li wenzhong suspecious trouble maker and always got beaten up! huan song a villager innocent guy, jin jin strong support, junshan what a character! everone is amazing

Thank you so much for this video! It's this video that convinced me to finally watch this show and I do not regret it one bit! Honestly, it was Xu Kai's winks, funny facial expressions and flirtatiousness towards Bai Lu and her being annoyed and frustrated about it that are shown in this video is what sold me. I just totally fell in love with the show and had to finish it in a few days. The aesthetic and the grandeur of the 1910's fashion are so gorgeous. I also love all the very strong female characters in this, even the villain and the 2nd FL. Although there were a few tragic moments, I loved seeing the character development of a lot of the characters, especially the main leads, Xie Xang/Liangchen and Gu Yanzhen. XX becoming a bad ass woman who can hold herself in battle, and save herself a few times was so satisfying to watch. And Yanzhen has become one of my favorite characters in all of Asian dramaland. He was loyal, devoted, and protective to XX, and freely expressed his love for her without caring what others think (her being a male in everyone else's eyes). His playfulness and silly antics was so entertaining to watch. One of the best dramas for me ❤️.

I forgot how much I enjoyed this drama. The last episodes were like Game Of Throne I was always on edge praying that my favourite won't get killed in this episode.

He is so handsome that it's just overbaring 🥰🥰🥰

This drama is so underrated it deserves a million views. I have lots of laugh on this drama haha it gives u a rollingcoaster emotions . Tumatawa ka lng tas bigla kng papakiligim tas biglang magiging seryoso yung scene so mahahawa magiging seryoso ka din tas bigla ka na lng iiyak haha. Watching this drama made me remembered our ancestor's sacrifice for freedom which we have today and it made me realized if their sacrifice are worth it coz majority of youngster nowadays are so disappointing.
