He was formed at the Moroccan royal academy so were other players in the national team, like Nayef Aguerd, Youssef En-Nesyri, Azzedine Ounahi. Ggz to them the academy only started in 2010 and now you won't believe the number of European scouts in Morocco. just goes to tell that when there are oportunities ofc there would be some good talents to apear in such environment, still Morocco need much more work to reach European standards

Actually Morocco had the hardest route to semis! Same group as Belgium, Canada and semi finalist Croatia. They beat Spain , they beat Portugal and that’s not Luck by skills and staying humble. Mashallah!

The problem is Morocco was not a top football Nation they need to stay on that level they showed all the world at wc 2022 qatar. They need to win African cup of nations 2024. They allow to be better at marketing strategy of frmf how they back they player like European countries do. Then at the last the players should have a good agents how can help them like signed a sponsorship like Messi and Ronaldo etc.. Then totally you get a product how will coast 100 mill or more not 10. And in ounahi case is he don't have a European passport

It's not hardwork or lack of it. European footballing institutions are racist beyond belief. This same accusation of being lazy is levelled at many ethnic players playing in Europe especially the Prem. Take Ziyech, Boufal, Adel Taraabt, Ben Arfa, Ozil, Pogba. I could name twenty others. All of them were labelled lazy or arrogant by footballing institutions and the media. Everyone admits that football has racism, but people think it's limited to fans. It's comically obvious that racism is present right through teams, from the directors to the scouts to the coaches. Of course they are not all going to be blatantly racist. It might only show itself in how many minutes you give a player. A player like Messi wouldn't have been anywhere near his prime if Guardiola decided to just play him on the wing and made him stick to the position. Instead he made the team play around Messi. A lot of these talented players have been condemned to playing sideroles and bench roles in their team. That's the difference.
