Yes I grew up singing Rev James Cleveland’s Gospel songs at church & home. I’m 81 years & my Mother was the pianist for Newstead Baptist Missionary Baptist Church Ladies Chorus & my sister Dr. Lucy Gause if Maryland & myself of Kansas City, Mo. were sang in the group all of our childhood life. His songs are apart of our life forever.

So beautiful, so touching and powerful 😪😥 Even though this was taped years ago....(with all the turmoil that is occurring in this country /and the world....today)This song is more prevalent , than....Ever🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 This Choir/ The Director/ The Musicians......Lord Have Mercy🤦🏾‍♀️. This song is awesome, makes you reflect on the goodness of the Lord.

This song gets me every time. This and "This Little Light Of Mine". I don't know what it is about those two songs but every single time, they get me. I love my city and the people it produced.

Appreciate the impact Rev. James Cleveland had on congregations world wide, but we must also put Dr. Mattie Moss Clark of COGIC in that category, as well, in my view. Blessings to their great memories. RIP.
