Man, I just wanna extend a big hug and say that you’re a wonderful human being. You’re also one of the best disc golfers in the world. That doesn’t come easy or as a given. It takes determination, practice and spirit. The mental game is as important as the physical. You have to believe that you’re the best even if your body wispers otherwise. That’s the gig - and a little love from your supporters hopefully helps… Hence, big hugs from Sweden - having you on our soil was a pleasure!

Dealing with expectations is hard. Don't let external things or people get to you. Goggins is right: nobody cares. Find enjoyment playing the game by yourself again. Maybe take a break from social media as a whole. If it breaks contract, have someone else do it. I see a monster coming. Eagle, you have not hit your prime yet. Let's go!

Even a dream job like being a professional disc golfer still is a job at some point. You can't expect yourself to "have fun" all the time, but you also have to balance the pressure you place on yourself. All thing you said in this video that make tons of sense. Thanks for including us on your journey rather than going into a shell and bottling it up.

Hi Eagle! First and foremost, I was so in awe to meet you! I have been a fan for a long time (6years), and seeing you and get discs signed and you playing the course Ale where I started playing discgolf, was a dream come true. I think you're definitely on to something on controlling what you're able to control - remember, controlling/understanding your mind and emotions is a skill, just like discgolf and it takes practice and determination to get to a good place. I believe you've covered a great deal already in your perception and understanding. With more practice and you'll become the master of your own mind. Quick question, do you meditate at all? It helps to understand your mind is not you - you can decide what you want to enact upon - and mediation helps a great deal with this, understanding that you have the power to step away and observe. I admire you so much so would be great to give something back. Hope you have a great time in Denmark and later Norway, and say hi from me to Pat we got to talk a bit during the week! :) /Nicolas

HAHA! Learning to throw 500+ ft sounds way harder than learning to drive stick... 😜 As a professional trumpet player for over 20 years, I can testify that the body will change over time even if it's not due to injury. It's important to pay attention and maybe make some modifications from time to time if what you "were doing" no longer suits you just right. You da man dude✌

Eagle, you are a great human being! Thank you for being honest and sharing about what you are going through with serenity and a smile. Very inspiring! There are no problems, only challenges and solving these challenges can be tough but this is an opportunity to learn further about yourself and come out stronger 🐦‍🔥❤

Hey Eagle. Hope you enjoy your European tour. I know you will. To be honest, the highly wooded coarser have never been your strong suit. And in my opinion there is some luck involved playing them. I will never forget your win against McBeast. That was an epic battle. WOW. You have history at the European Open. You will play well there this year!

I love your KZread channel and love watching you play disc golf! I am rooting for your KZread channel to grow and I love to see your practice round videos in whatever your favorite format is! If I had all the money in the world and a huge fan base, I'd love nothing more than to record practice round videos of me playing rounds at beautiful courses (pro tour and non pro tour) and focus on a KZread channel for those videos. Kind of like what Ezra Aderhold does!

Chowda! haha. I'm the same way about not letting other influences in...that being said, Ive noticed that the closer my walk is w/ God the more things tend to fall right into place and it's also given me a way more positive outlook overall. There is always something good that comes from the bad....and a lot less bad these days!

Eagle, so much love and support on the journey. If I were to give you one itty little piece of advice in the mindset department, it would be to focus on the gratitude. What a gift it is to be able bodied, to be able to share your passion and joy of this game with the world. And knowing that people will remember how they felt when around you. I love how generous of spirit you are when with your friends and family. Wouldnt it be wonderful to feel that same joy on the course. As a fan I just want to see you fully enjoying yourself (that where the flow state lies).... sometimes we gotta fake it till we make it. all the love on the journey,

I want to say about your arm that knowing your capabilities is like faith. You trust the result even if you haven't seen it. Your arm could be stronger than before, but you just don't feel it yet. You could be on the verge of victory and not know.

It's very easy to be disappointed and get frustrated when you know how good you can play. I get very frustrated when in practice I dial up a park job or hit basket. Then actually play a real round and unlucky bounce or I just wasn't fluid and screw up. At least you aren't cussing freaking out like a few pros when they play poorly. You are still figuring out how much torque and reps that shoulder can handle. By next year it will be stronger than ever. I've had surgery on both mine from dislocations. Not fun. I know a tiny bit of my power was lost but looking back and new form I actually throw further so not sure. Mental part of the game is the hardest. Traveling and disc golfing sounds fun but can also be grueling to drive long distances all the time. I'm a school bus driver and driving is hard on the shoulders on long runs. Keep your head up. Keep rocking. I can see your frustrations but they are going to be what makes the next win so much more special.

Keep working man you’re doing great. As a physical therapist myself, I can say with respect to the fine motor control that is going to continue to take time to develop but your motor patterns are still stored in your spinal cord, your peripheral nerves and muscles have to relearn the pattern. It’ll come, before you know it, it’ll will become second nature again

What were the expectations of yourself before you won the European open with no side arm? Everyone needs a near death experience or the near death experience of somebody they love to get perspective on life. Put things into perspective.

You probably won't read this and even if you do, probably won't take it seriously, but you could maybe stop analyzing everything you do, stop consuming content online, stop creating content online, not forever, just temporarily.. and see if you feel any better about what you're doing and where you are at. Leave your phone and labtop or whatever at wherever you are staying and just experience life as if the internet and cell phones don't exist. This may be conspiratorial thinking, but all the added frequencies around us everyday probably have some sort of effect on us and how we think and behave. It's worth a shot.

Do not show your buttons of frustration to the course for it to natively push. Instead, may your own blameless defense be greater than even that of the course.
