My 63 Panhead was stolen 21 years ago. Paughco hardtail, jockey shift. I road that bike across this country 12 times in 25 years. At least I have that....
As several others have pointed out, this is from the soundtrack to 'Hells Angels Forever', a documentary the Angels produced back in 1983. Not a great film, but a flick worth looking up if you're at all into motorcycling history. Great footage of the club riding, interviews with folks like Jerry Garcia, etc., and some killer tunes.

You mean, the Hells Angels MC didn't produce an award winning documentary the critics would rave about? 😉 (I'm reading the book by Hunter S. Thompson now, and now I wanna check out the flick. Was never into the HAMC lifestyle, but I love history and riding)!
I gotta play this quiet. Im at work at Honda...🤭

That photo is a 6 volt Harley panhead with a 3 brush generator and a cutout relay. If the points in that relay stuck closed it would fry every wire on the bike before the generator went up in smoke.

@@donnysarian The oil leak came from the primary chain oiler. The oiler dripped oil on the primary chain because it was insie the primary chain cover and would be difficult to manually oil, like the drive chain. There was no return for the excess oil on the sheet metal primary covers. There wasn't anything wrong when they leaked this oil, they were designed that way.

@@donnysarianYeah but you could fix it with just a Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, needle nose pliers and a mallet. There's a reason you could find an old, rusted out big twin 70 years old and get it back into running condition in a matter of months.
Not just any Harley, but a Panhead, which is a league of its own!
Love my Harley!
Been looking for this song for a while! Thanks.
