He’s going to have limited impact first year. You’re good to take him late if you don’t do dynasty. I love his approach to the game, he is the closest thing to AP I’ve seen in a minute, and he’s a WR, but if I’m being honest his routes and hands are in a place where he’ll need some time to develop before he’s someone who is selected in the top 8 rounds of fantasy. I think he’s going to have a few wow moments that will give him that time though so if you dynasty, jump on the bandwagon now.

one of the reasons I like Corley so much in this draft is because he's going to be a guy you can throw out there week 1, get him a few touches a game, and watch throughout the season as he progresses. Dont take him expecting to be the star of the show right away because hes missing some receiver tools, but get him the experience and touches his YAC ability allows him to get, those skills alone means he should see the field right away still. And for a team who's willing to do that, be smart about his development, like the Chiefs with Rice. And in a few years, if he's the exact same player, then you likely wont be too mad because of the YAC ability still, but you just have to plan differently with your talent!

Corley's tape looks like Wes Welker. He's the prototypical slot receiver that you send put on 3rd&6 to just run a zig and get the first down because you KNOW he's gonna get it done. The Patriots got someone similar in Demario "Pop" Douglas last year and even though it took about 8 weeks for our idiot OC to realize he was actually good, he led the team in nearly every receiving stat and made Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe look good whenever they threw him the ball

@@notanexpert522 At that point they need versatility not redundancy. Chiefs got the most out of their worst passing season in recent years because 2 of their guys were YAC/underneath threats in do-it-all Kelce and Rice. Which ideally guys like MVS or whichever bum receiver were suppose to be the intermediate/deep route guys. Besides some great defenses can cover that grass while they know their own offense can match points in a passing game shoot out. Which the Lions against some match ups in the playoffs weren't really up to that task.

I wanted kellen moore as oc when he was in dallas for my eagles, im happy we have him now. Im sure the reason the eagles went after saquan is that they trust moore to use him in the pass game, which is an element missing in our offense. Another thing missing is a WR3 who is shifty and a yac threat, i know we got parker but i highly expect another wr in the draft, I dont watch college as im not from the us, but i trust bretts opinion because he is willing to learn and adjust his scouting views, for example admitting that rice didnt need to be a complete receiver, its all about knowing how to get the best out of the players, so i wouldnt mind seeing corley in midnight green

Would you rather draft a Wr3 or improve the TE2 spot if youre philly? stoll is awesome in the run game but i feel like other teams get so much out of their run game in 12 personell and with play action, and i have ptsd from spread shotgun offense chucking 1200 wr screens a game with devonta smith being asked to be the key blocker outside

You get them into this hurry up style and all of a sudden players are forgetting their assignments, etc Especially with the play being an RPO that linebacker/slot corner should be hanging out for the potential QB keep and ideally the safety would slide down and take away a massive gain from that screen. Ideally sure. The Chiefs can hide Rice as the YAC guy because Kelce is the do-it-all primary receiver (then) and there are other receivers who can handle other roles like MVS for deep balls. Telesco assembled the WR group badly and relied heavily on Allen as the go-to tall slot receiver (who also isn't as durable anymore). There weren't other reliable receivers who can handle other roles so QJ was put on the spotlight.
