Victim blaming is the reason why so many of us are scared to speak about our sexual assaults and traumas

Not the lady's fault. She told her husband about her friend Raghav's message n even said she might plan to meet him. When raghav called she told she wanted him to meet her husband too. But an old friend insisting on a quick meeting at the gym is not something unusual. Getting into the car of an old friend to go fr a cup of tea somewhere especially as they can't chat standing on the road is also quite normal. The lady could not have predicted that her so called friend is going to molest her. So it's the friend s fault. The lady is also right in pondering over whether to tell the husband or not because she is aware that husband might just blame her. In her position, better to tell her husband about the fact that the friend misbehaved but without going into exact and vivid details.

Being a girl, it's not always the easiest to have male friends, especially if this is how male friends behave(I'm not saying all guys are pigs but come on, some are). Speaking of this case, Was it Sapna's fault? No, she had no idea things will get this nasty. With that being said, I do believe that plans no matter how spontaneous should always be briefed to close family and friends, so that they can back us up in any kind of situation.

So much consideration is given to girls whereas boys are completely ignored. Recently, minor girl forcefully kissed a minor boy and shot him with a bullet. And that girl was just send to juvenile home without police booking any case. But in some different case, when a boy kissed a girl he was sentenced to jail. What kind of nonsense is this? Do we Boys didn’t have any kind of dignity and respect?? Even dignity law is just for girl child only. What nonsense is this? Do Boys & LGBT children didn’t have any dignity. We boys aren’t going to silently listen to whatever you all are saying till we also didn’t get equal dignity & respect……

Yes of course. Sapna was all helpless at that time. Her hands and legs were tied and she was unable to open the door and get out. She was forced to be sitted inside the car and the car was running at a high speed along a lone highway and she had nowhere to go but sitting and letting her friend continuing the nasty moves slowly and tip-touching and teasingly. Her friend suddenly jumped over her without any further notice and squeezed her on the car seat and she didn't have any idea what could be his further move after the nasty talks. She is a little innocent nursery child.

Sapna is not to be blamed, cause she did not expect this in the wildest of her dreams. Sapna did feel uncomfortable as Raghav told the driver to go to the bank as he wanted privacy and this was sensed by Sapna , and she wanted to leave. Raghav disrespected his friendship and Sapna's trust. Nice story line, you people are really picking up day to day incidents, all the best and keep it up.

after watching this story, and reading comments, i feel so good that people are raising this issue of informing to someone about the plan of going out and meeting, even if it is someone you can blindly trust( although there should be nobody of that kind, still). And blaming should not bother you, never, if you know about your actions and mistakes.

It's not at all Sapna's fault. How would she know Raghav's intention beforehand? And even we do this. We meet a long time friend and randomly meet them at a place. What's wrong in that?. It was Raghav's fault because he had bad motives. And her husband should trust her rather than blaming her. Atleast he should appreciate the fact that Sapna told him everything rather than hiding it.

The problem that Sapna is doubting that her husband would blame her comes because of lack of trust and not knowing the husband well. These things can only be known if you know what's that husband's thinking is.... Which unfortunately in many arranged marriages is not known.... Before marriage I feel both the parties should know what the other person's thinking is atleast on major affecting things like career, settling in abroad, thinking on harrasment...it's very necessary

Why to mess up the love with doubts and desires. She is completely right and hence must never ever lose faith in her and must fight against the unjust and the ignorant. Okay it's not something horrendous yet her mistake was not to let her husband know before actually sending her friend that address of her Rumba Institute, first. Second is when she realised that her friend is asking the driver to go somewhere that's kinda alarming, she could have smartly walked out of the car.. And immediately walk towards crowdy area to avoid further interaction with her "Friend". When we meet people after some years, they actually are as good as strangers.

She told about it as soon as he texted initially. But when it was sudden, it was random you don't think it's necessary to tell and you don't even remember to at that point. Would you inform the same way if it was a female friend? That's what she also would have felt at that moment. It's just a schoolmate Maybe if your husband was online and texting at that moment you would, otherwise you wouldn't even think it's important If your husband met his friend when he went out, would he tell you before or after getting home?
