Before this I have been using hand shears on my sheep. Needless to say it takes me quite a bit of time to get the sheep sheared. On top of that I have more mature sheep this year than last year. So this year I invested in electrical shears and it was so much faster than before and more tidy looking too. Next I need to clean up and sharpen the shears for next year.
