I have been curious about the cause of the name change, yet when we switched from installment number to the upcoming year, I feel like Ubisoft was treating Just Dance as if they were like sports games, as they always had that tradition. Even then, not sure if we need Just Dance 5 that badly as Just Dance 2014 did become one of the best installments with 4 being a worthy contender of surpassing it and 2022 coming pretty close to both of them.

So I did look at the Just Dance 5 cover, and I knew Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl made it to JD 2014, and Ellie Goulding's Lights in JD 2016, but the songs from Neon Trees, Cher, and Backstreet Boys aren't shown; just their names. However, Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo's Let's Go along with Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen's Good Time would be nice additions to the series! Side note: Let's Go would be the most likely to get an Extreme version out of all the songs on the cover.

I think the reason why just dance 5 turned into just dance 2014 is because ubisoft wanted to add a year to the game, kinda like how the fifa games. They thought people would buy it more because it would have turned into a sports game and thus more people would buy just dance 2014 than just dance 5

i personally think it was because they truly knew just dance would be a anual game, so instead of it being like just dance 5,6,7,8 and higher they made it years so it's simpler if that makes sense

i really hope anja's songs get added to jdu at some point the choreos were so good

I don't see why candy and starships would not be a part of jd5. If they were already complete to be a part of jd4, they could have been planned to be on jd5 just like they ended up on jd2014 + I come from the future, and I think 99 luftballons beta coaches can perfectly fit in jd5 because they were buried in a very early stage to be replaced with the new dancers

the coach on the europian cover (shown at 4:13) is the coach for candy

He kinda looks like Jack Rose and is the map of Treasure in JD24 Edition. (The unknown coach on the European Cover of JD14)

Also Crazy kids was a beta in Just Dance 2014 or I think it was in Just Dance 2015, anyway the dancer was a female, she was painting herself green and orange color, the dance was contemporary, and there was no background but the color was black. The dance was complete and it was considered a beta because it doesn’t have Just Dance material like the other songs where the coaches change color or transfer into a different coach, and the background didn’t have anything but there was a shower 🚿 . The shower color was green or turquoise.

@@dougret can you do a part 2 of Just Dance 5 because on the game cover I found other songs in it and also there three unknown dancer I’m pretty sure one of them has the songs like The top right side the dancer was a woman wearing a blue dress and she has blonde hair I think it stronger by Kelly Clarkson or is Piece by piece because it said they have her songs in it so Heartbeat songs was her second but then they scraped Just Dance 5 so Heartbeat songs was Kelly Clarkson first songs in Just Dance 2016 and there also a Ne-yo songs too is called Let’s go it was in it too and I’m pretty sure that one was for the unknown male dancer but the last dancer next to the male dancer idk what songs was her and I think Move your body by Beyoncé was going to be in Just Dance 5 but it still a beta songs. That all I have.

Eu soube que Man Down foi substituída por Where are you been,por causa que na letra fala "I shot a man down"e não tinha versão clean, então a música não foi colocada. O Disco Ball pode ser dessas músicas •Just Dance (Uma possível 2ª versão) •Gentleman •Look at you Ou até mesmo uma música outra música que não é popular. All I want for Christmas is you já é um mistério,dizem está incompleta ou que foi descartada depois. E os caras de rock talvez sejam possívelmente um alt para Final Countdown mas que eles não incluíram no final

Oi Doug, estou começando a assistir seus vídeos pq recentemente fui em um evento de videogame em minha cidade, e aí bateu a saudade da época que jogava, principalmente os just dances 4, 2014 e 2015. Achei seu vídeo pq queria saber qual era a versão que jogavam no evento que tinha todas as músicas, e no seu video vc me respondeu. Agora estou meio perdida para qual console ir. Estou pensando seriamente no one por causa do kinect, acho mais legal ficar com a mão livre, e ver que está reconhecendo o corpo todo. Mas aí vem meu medo, pesquisando vi que nos novos consoles não vem mais o Kinect, e mesmo com adaptador, não suporta os jogos, então meu medo é comprar o one, e daqui a pouco ficar ultrapassado como o 360, e a Ubisoft não dar mais suporte para os jogos, ou descontinuar o unlimited para o one. Pelo que vejo vc está super informado do mundo Just Dance, sabe de alguma coisa, se tem ainda um tempo útil para se jogar no one, ou se em breve não terá mais utilidade? Desde já agradeço muito ao seu canal, os vídeos são ótimos, vc tem carisma e ainda explica super bem, de forma didática e inteligente! Sucesso para vc!

Oii muito obrigado pelos elogios ❤️ sobre o Xbox One, ele é o único que suporta o Kinect. Prefiro a primeira versão dele (aquele grandão, que não precisa do adaptador). Até o momento a Ubisoft não anunciou que vai parar de lançar jogos para o One, acho que o suporte continuará por mais alguns anos.

UPDATE: Those two rocker coaches were found out to be the beta of 99 Luftballons. Personally I love the beta because it expresses at least in my eyes a gay romance which is rare and ahead of it’s time for 2013. I kind of wish the beta made it to the final version of the game.
