Stay well, Katrina! And thanks for the update and a glimpse of your spring flowers. 🌸
Thanks so much Katrina. Your channel is always so peaceful, positive and beautiful. Just share with us your normal routine, your thoughts, what you are planting, what you are cleaning up, what is exciting gin your allotment in this early spring. Really just your normal day-to day. Hugs from (still frozen) Canada!
Great video. Its nice to get to the allotment and chill out away from all the stress of life we have faced this year. Keep gardening, It really has the power to heal the mind as well as the body. Take care
So nice to see you 😊👍🌞
Thank you for sharing your positive and happy garden thoughts. I also believe that being in nature is the best medicine of all🦋 T
I love your gardening…you are so creative and imaginative..that’s why I love gardening..😊
Good morning from Oregon ! You are such a delight ! Thank you for sharing with us . I feel you are a kindred spirit, hearing you say your eyes filled with tears over the birds nesting . My eyes did this morning too ,when I saw some surprise peony buds poking their heads up ! I love the hope planting a garden brings . Please continue to share with us your beautiful ,peaceful vlogs. May God bless you dear heart!!
Great to hear an up beat message, lovely to see a positive smile from a lovely person, in such a dark time. You have cheered me up and I am ready “to keep buggering on” (Winston Churchill) for another day. Thank you, I will be out in the garden planting potatoes in pots, turning over the compacted soil, planting seeds in the green house and drinking tea. When things look bad put the kettle on make a brew and have a stroll around in the garden.
The garden is the best place to be at the moment. Love the “land girl” look very apt for these times!😀
Thanks for the positive message! Get outside! Grow your own veg! It really does make all this more bearable. Good luck to all!
You're great! Thank you for your kindness and lovely allotment. Hello from Brooklyn, New York.
It’s amazing through the COVID we have had so many new gardener’s on KZread which is amazing, people enjoying their own produce 💕 Lovely video and update 🍅🫐🌶🪴🌶🫐🍅
Good day from America we're all a little nervous here as well. It's wonderful to see your smiling face. Believe it or not watching your vlogs brings me peace and joy. I'm very glad you're still taking the time to make these videos.

I think we are all are a little nervous, I liked your lovely comment. Gardeners around the world should all unite to spread a little cheer amongst all the doom. I live in a small rural village in northern England, a Saxon cross stands in the village square the daffodils are growing all around, we walk down to the ford past the old village church and through the lanes looking a the first signs of spring. We are self isolating passing the time with working in the garden. Hope you and your family keep well.

Spent a couple of hours at my allotment this morning, away from news, social media etc. I was rejuvenated, surrounded by wildlife, this absolutely resets your wellbeing, stay safe.
Hi there, Thanks so much for making this video. I could tell that you were feeling very sad and anxious about what's going on. I'm a gardener in the West Midlands. I understand how you feel and I wanted to say that I am thinking of you and please try not to worry too much. Easy to say it I know! You are absolutely right that getting out into your patch of land is the thing. I'm planning all sorts for my garden. I rushed down to my local garden centre the other day to stock up on compost and seeds and stuff in case it suddenly shut. Maybe you should take a load to stuff to where ever you live in case you can't get to your allotment. Nature is amazing and I too felt very emotional the other day when I saw birds, daffodils, hawthorn and when I watched 'gardeners world's on Friday!! Please don't worry. We all understand and I look forward to seeing your videos as you put them out.
Thank you for your video. Your voice is very soothing. ❤️

Hope you can continue to pop down to the allotment, this video is a nice little Monday monring treat! I've got a little garden in my office at the minute - just a few seedlings but it's nice to have something else to focus on.
So lovely to see you. Stay safe and healthy. Here in Ontario Canada. 14 day lock down. Self isolation but still under ice so walks are so enjoyable.

Thank you for your lovely video. You cheered me up a bit. I hope you had a chance to work on your allotment during this week. I live in Québec, Canada, and we still have too much snow on the ground but I already started lots of seeds indoors. Spring is around the corner and so is the sun. Have a great day! 💚
Thanks for being a bright light! Seeing normalcy, tours, seeds starts and such helps a lot with nerves!
Good morning! I am also from Nottingham but have been living in Mallorca for 17 years, love your channel, attitude and garden! Thanks for all the advice and keep up the good work :)
Just found you on KZread love watching your allotment I’m a learner just bought a mini greenhouse so hoping to start growing some flowers things are limited so your videos keep me calm and I’m learning Thkyou so much for bringing us some calm and beautiful ness in the awful world at the minute xxx any certain easy flower to grow would help xxx keep safe and well 🌼💕🌸
You're so right about the birdsong! I think it exactly that just the other day. Balm for the soul. And it's so comforting to see wildlife just getting on with it, oblivious to the chaos taking place around them. 🌼
Big thumbs-up on the "scary stuff". Am very appreciative of your fine attitude. God bless and stay safe!
I really appreciate and agree with what you say here! I've taken on a plot recently (lotta work to do!) and it's so true, feels so good for mind and body. And you're so right, we should be encouraging everyone to grow their own 😀👏
Thankyou you've cheered me up! I can't see my children today and was feeling really sad but you've put a smile on my face thankyou x
It was good to watch your video today... it’s scary times and you are spot on that gardening is great for our mental health. I work in the NHS and my garden and new allotment is my refuge at the moment. I would love to see videos on how to go about planning the plot out - including what to grow where. Take care of yourself... Helen x
Nice to see you. Gardening is helping me a lot.
Thank you so much, for just popping in. I think you might be very popular this coming year. 👍

Lovely to see my Robin pic still there 💕
What a lovely uplifting video, thank you. I'm working at a nursery looking after the children of key workers and it was so sad for the children we had to say goodbye to on Friday as they didn't have key worker parents and they are only little 2-4 year olds. You are so right that nature has a way to uplift you and make you appreciate what we have around us. Keep safe everyone xx
Just sowed potatoes, cucumbers, and cantaloupes in my garden :-)
Your cheery smile, demeanour and vlog in these troubled times is a great start to the day. I planting out onions for the first time on my new allotment today, and with the sun shining I'm looking forward toma great day of self isolation (SI)
Love your positive and thoughtful video, thank you :)
Brilliant little update video. So much is happening at this time in the gardens and the world, lovely to have you calming affects on us all. Thank you so much. Being a gardener in the UK too I have already created many herb and veg beds for customers and many more are clammering for them now. It'll never be self sufficiency but lovely to get people involved and keen. Have a lovely day. I'm just off to join Instagram and follow you progress. Thank you once again.
Glad to hear you're weathering this well so far. I agree getting into the garden is good outside activity. Planted some early spring veggies myself as it's been unseasonably warm lately. Can't wait for the fresh peas.
Thank you. Really needed this x
Lovely "check in" video. Me and the family have been busy in the garden this morning creating a raised bed. Seedlings growing at the ready, my 3 year old Betsy is looking forward to picking and eating our own lettuce and potatoes.
Thank you so much for the positive comments and encouragement!
Well said let’s grow and grow in pots or in garden let’s plant

@@homegrowngarden Thanks it will, in Calgary here we often can get snow on the may long weekend, we have strange weather it can be -30c one day and we get a warm air mass come through and it will be +15 over a few hours, i was watching your Christmas video and i also Love music one of the 1st albums i bought at 12 years old was Metal Church 1980, and i left a KZread link to a video i think you should go watch Tatiana has an amazing voice. Check out my garden if you have a moment it is a little different than your but you may like it Cheers Love your videos your garden is beautiful and voice is nice and relaxing keep them coming.
Take care lovely girl
The allotment area has been buzzing with activity during the last few days, it is easy to chat with people while staying safe, at the same time getting some fresh air and exercise. Something has been nibbling our Aquadulce Claudia, I have put sheep's wool around the stems and just added the tops of pea sticks between the plants. Any suggestions for other deterrents?
So besides the inspiring words you've passed along with encouragement and your intelligence that shines from you as you speak to us. I was wondering if it were possible you've actually become MORE beautiful since your last video? Me thinks so....be well and thanks.
I would love some info on growing Dahlias!! I potted mine up a few weeks ago and only one has a tiny eye (sprout?) emerging. I'm starting to panic! I have alps potted up a peony or two and ranunculus and they also haven't sprouted yet. No signs of life I tell you... And I'm devastated. Do you think they just need more time?
My council allotment is in the local park I have a lot thing planted and because people wont follow the rules on social distancing the council have closed all their parks for 12 weeks.
😘
May I ask what made you choose a poly tunnel over a greenhouse? Just beginning to realise I need something as I’ve run out of windowsill space ☺️
Make sure to bring some stuff home in case you're completely blocked in.
